Footflats Cottage is situated on the north shore of Amherst Island on four acres with 400ft. of shoreline. The property is ideal for families with young children as it has a wide lawn leading to a pebbly beach with good swimming. There is also a firepit by the shore.

In the cottage there are three bedrooms, two of the bedrooms have queen sized beds and the other room has a bunk bed, double on the bottom, single on the top. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and freezer, stove, microwave, coffee pot dishes and utensils and a gas BBQ. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. Bedding is provided but you need to bring your own pillow cases, sheets and towels.
In addition to many board games, there is a small television and DVD player for rainy-day entertainment.
