Welcome to the Blueberry Cottage. We have renovated the kitchen and large family room by the lake installing a large wood/ cook stove and dishwasher. It is a beautiful bright space right by the water that can host a large crew. If you have an even larger crew look at our sister cottage www.cottagesincanada.com/wildflowercottage - both cottages combined can host a party of 20.
Blueberry provides a classic Muskoka experience. This large 4 acre property has 200 feet of private waterfront with crown land behind and a vacant lot to one side. With over 2500 sq ft of living space and 4 bedrooms plus two day beds, you can comfortably sleep up to 11 people (or two families). Please note that the 4th bedroom can only be accessed from the outside of the cottage. The upper level has the bedrooms plus a sitting room and a new large deck overlooking the lake. The lower level has a larger new family room and activity area, kitchen, and a second new deck attached to the house. Since the cottage faces the west, you will be treated to breath-taking sunsets while you relax on the decks after dinner. There is lots of room to spread out in this cottage and as you will see from the pictures it resides very close to the water with great views from every room.
The cottage includes a barbecue, freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. Outside you will find a hammock, fire pit, boat dock and two sizeable decks. A windsurfer is available to rent. A canoe, kayak and paddle board are included with the cottage rental. Behind the house are hundreds of acres of crown land criss-crossed with hiking and mountain biking trails, with many picturesque ponds and streams. Long walks will create lasting memories.
The cottage is located on Gloucester Pool, a deep and large lake that is next to Georgian Bay. The water is fresh, warm, and free of weeds, so its perfect for swimming, tubing and ski'ing. The lake is on the Trent-Severn, which gives you a wide range of travel options by boat including the scenic Big Chute and venturing into Georgian Bay.

| We have spent a week at the Blueberry cottage with our family for the past 4 years. It never disappoints. It gives the real cottage experience. The cottage is clean and has all the amenities you need for a cottage. The dishwasher was a great addition. Great for large families to come together. The swimming is great and the view is spectacular. Jacob is an excellent host, friendly and is always there if you need him.

| Stayed at this beautiful haven for two weeks and enjoyed the peace, tranquility, and beautiful views. The cottage is great with the sleeping area on a different level than the kitchen/living area so someone who wants to go to bed early is not disturbed by noise from others. The bedrooms are comfortable and one bedroom is set apart from the others with a bathroom close by so you can sleep undisturbed from snorers! :-) We used the kayak and paddle board and enjoyed swimming right off the dock in the clean and warm lake. Lots of boats to watch going by. Two decks with awesome sunset views, a great BBQ, and lots of kitchen amenities let you feel at home in an oasis. Jacob was great with lots of information about the area and gave us good information on hikes and things to see and do. We ventured out to several areas of interest nearby in Midland, Bala, and Port Severn. It was a perfect cottage for my first time renting on my own. I was at ease with the process from start to finish as Jacob is very hands on and made sure everything was fine. Thank you Jacob! If this is your first time, be aware that the cottage access involves a drive along a winding, gravel road that at times can be narrow, which speaks to the peace and tranquility you find at the end of the drive! Closest town for supplies is about a 30 minute drive. You'll be carrying food supplies down a stairwell to the lower level. It's all worth it in my opinion. I hope to return again.

| We had an amazing time at Blueberry cottage! We booked it for girls weekend and had a great time. The cottage is very big but very cozy, and easily slept our big group (and in fact could have fit a few more). The cottage has a great sprawling structure that let us socialize in the living room while anyone who wanted quiet time could be on the opposite side of the house. Having access to boats was also great, and the surrounding nature is beautiful - beautiful views, great garden, lovely forest. Jacob was also really helpful in bringing us potable water from his well on our second day, which we really appreciated! Great experience overall, just be aware to bring your own toilet paper, dish soap and paper towel.

| We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Blueberry Cottage. Gloucester Pool is a beautiful lake and this waterfront cottage really allows you to enjoy it. Beautiful sunsets!! We rented a fishing boat from a third party and along with the canoe, kayak and paddle board available at the cottage, we had a great variety of ways to enjoy the lake. Jacob even went out of his way to bring a kids size kayak for our boys to use. Also, Big Chute is just a short boat ride away and it's a pretty cool lock to watch! We also have to mention how helpful Jacob is. If there is anything you need during your stay, he promptly responds. We greatly appreciated his hospitality. The cottage itself is rustic and spacious. We really liked the fact that we didn't hear each other in the night and there were plenty of places to relax together or in solitude. The BBQ is big and works very well. The tap water isn't potable, so bring big jugs along. There is a pump at the cottage that is clean that can be used to pump into glasses or pots. We really enjoyed our week staying and Blueberry Cottage and would rent again.

| This place didn't look real. It was so beautiful and scenic that it looked straight out of a dream or a movie. I want to mention a couple of things I saw in other comments: there were no rats or other rodents in the kitchen. The place was super clean. Jacob was very understanding and responded very quickly when we had a question. They had this cute cottage book where people wrote their memories of the cottage during their stay. It was super nice to read that and add our own memories as well. They had many different boats and all of them were in great condition. The water was very clean. The view during sunrise and sunset is so beautiful that words can't even describe it, you will have to experience it for yourself. Overall, I don't recall having a singular bad experience at this cottage. This place looks amazing compared to other cottages and it also comes at a great price as well. Thank you so much, Jacob.
