This is a ranch style home, used as a cottage, situated on a peaceful part of the Trent Waterway. This is a 3 bedroom cottage, that boasts an open concept kitchen, dining and living room with ample seating at the dining table or sectional couch, all with great views of the water. There is a great room with an ample seating area, 4/ 8 pool table and dart board, all with great views of the water. This cottage has a very large yard with a sand beach and tiki hut located right at the waters edge. There is a large deck, patio set (seats 6) with umbrella, gazebo with a gas BBQ and plenty of room for additional seating. There is a fire pit on the property. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and tub.
The scenery and wildlife are spectacular; many different birds to see for avid bird watchers, beavers/muskrats/otters, dear, and more are seen right from the deck
Several kms of great water for boating (tubing, water skiing, swimming etc.)
Spectacular sunsets seen from the cottage's deck/tiki bar
The Trent river offers great fishing
The large yard can accommodate several tents
This cottage is meant for families/ mature groups smaller in nature
Must bring own bedding, pillows, towels and toiletries, paper towels
Campbellford is 10-15min drive from the cottage where you will find groceries, Giant Tiger, Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons, LCBO, Beer store, gas stations, bakery, restaurants/shops and more. Stirling is a quaint little town 10-15 min from the cottage with lovely shops, restaurants, grocery store, beer/liquor store etc.
Hoard's station is a 5 min drive from the cottage and is a convenience store for immediate needs-movie rentals, lotto, cigarettes, food/snacks, garbage tags, etc. available here
Waterfront: Motorcrafts allowed, cottage has a boat lauch for small boats, community boat launch <5 min from cottage, sand beach with floating raft for swimming right off the property. You know you are about 15 min from this exit once you have passed the Big Apple (can't miss it) Go north on highway 30 until you reach a set of lights which means you are in Cambellford.
