Located on the Malagash Peninsula, not far from the spectacular Sunrise Trail Featuring stunning ocean vistas, Heaven's Cottage is the perfect place to leave your worries behind, to relax and become one with nature. Rolling lawns offer the perfect venues for fun and recreation. The amazing sandy beach (few minutes walk from the beach directly in front of the cottage featuring the warmest salt water north of the Carolinas and perfect sand for building the grandest castles and sculptures). A favourite past time for most of our quests is hours strolling the coast line searching and collecting sea glass. Will you find the elusive red or blue colours? We guarantee you will find many treasures to take home. But the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. There is a large screened deck so you can enjoy outdoors well into the night and watch the amazing sunsets. Also experience the sight of hundreds of fireflies (when in season) as they light their way through the forest or millions of stars that unite to form the Milky Way, as you roast marshmallows over a softly crackling bonfire (on the beach or the fire-pit provided) and are soothed by the soft lapping of the ocean against the shore, just a few feet away. The cottage is directly on the ocean (only 90 feet to the ocean bank) so you feel like you are on top of the water. All guests love spending hours on the porch admiring the sunrises, the sunsets, and/ or the natural beauty of the ocean while sipping their favourite beverage. Can you also imagine yourself curled up on the love-seat reading a book while listening to the ocean waves break against the shore?
There is a short walk to the beach (under 5 minutes). There is a gradual decline and then about twenty steps to descend to the beach. This property is not suitable for anyone with significant mobility issues.
During the winter, snuggle up with a good book, cup of hot chocolate, and the woodstove burning. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the beauty of the forest covered in pure white snow. The cottage is only a 30 minute drive away from Ski Wentworth which offers downhill and cross-country skiing.
From the moment you arrive, you will appreciate the offerings of Heaven's Cottage as the perfect place to rest, play, reset your priorities, recharge your spirit and renew yourself.
Only 5 minute drive to Jost Winery with frequent festivals, wine tasting, and tours. 15 minute drive to the village of Tatamagouche where you will find all required services. In less than 30 minutes you can find a vineyard, micro brewery, cidery, and a distillery.
Heating: Electric and Wood Stove. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Fan provided in every room.

Provided:
1. Three spacious bedrooms (1 Queen and 2 double), complete with linens, and ceiling fans. Limit to 4 person (more with permission).
2. Open concept living space with plenty of seating, TV (no cable or satellite), DVD, stereo, books, and games
3. Full kitchen and dining area complete with toaster, kettle, microwave, and full size fridge and stove
4. Full bathroom (shower), complete with towels. On a drill well so conservation of water is essential.
5. 6. Deck with ocean views (the perfect place to read a book or witness a brilliant scarlet sunset), screened area, deck chairs, love seat, and barbecue (includes gas).
7. Excellent cell phone coverage if you use Telus or Bell (or Bell Aliant); other carriers it is average service.
8. Country high speed wireless is available and the service is reliable but I can't guaranteed it.

The cottage is located in rural NS. Please expect bugs (bring repellent) and occasional wild animal.

| This was our second stay at Heaven Cottage having discovered it for a week last September. We loved the location right on the beach. Everything we needed was available to us in the cottage with all the modern amenities. Close to town but wonderfully remote. Michael and Danny are wonderful and welcoming hosts and always available. We have been vacationing in the area for more than 35 years and are planning to make this location our ?go to cottage ? for the foreseeable future. We loved everything about it and are already planning for next summer.

| This is our second stay at Heavens Cottage.As a former resident of Nova Scotia I knew what area of the province is close to a lot of interesting points of interest my family and friends would like to see.We for instance this trip we took the ferry to PEI,toured some of that province and returned back to the cottage by the amazing bridge.The location of the cottage is is as close to the beach as possible and when the tide is out there's a good sandy beach to explore.If it's cool in the evening you can enjoy the wood stove in the living room.The small town of nearby Tatamagouche is a gem of a place to spend some time where there's great food and drinks.The owner of this cottage has provided everything you need to enjoy your stay and we plan to do just that again next year.

| This is our third year staying at Heaven's Cottage and our annual visit has become our favourite week of the year. We love the location, beach, and comfortable, homey environment. The gorgeous sunsets, magical tides and amazing nearby communities (featuring a winery, brewery, oysters, cidery, farm stands... what more do you need!?). We have created many family memories with our two small children and thank our hosts so much for sharing this bit of heaven with us!

| What a wonderful place to spend a week! Quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the Northumberland strait and PEI on a clear day. This is our second time to Heaven's cottage and it did not disappoint. One can enjoy long walks on the beach looking for seaglass or watch the seals swim in the warm waters. The cottage is fully equipped and very comfortable. Jost winery located just a few minutes away adds to the experience and there are many lovely little towns to discover in the area where one can find local products. Truly a little gem and we hope to be back!
