It was our third visit and winter holiday gathering at the "Lake Manitoba Cottage". Everything was handled very professional and clear from the initiation of our booking up to the final notes after check out. We stayed two times at cottage #1 and one time at cottage #7 (current stay) and enjoyed the lovely environment, clean and well maintained cottages and fantastic preparation for the guests. The onsite resident manager (Marc) was lovely and very welcoming and did his best to make sure we had a peaceful and relaxing holiday over there. He was always available. The onsite manager was very flexible and even provided us extra time for check out and also accommodated us in a larger cottage when we asked him. We will certainly come back for another relaxing holiday (this time will be summer holiday) and will recommend these lovely cottages to our friends

Hi I can't find where to leave testimonials so I'd like to say we had the most amazing time treating our kids and grandkids for a week in chalet 9. There was enough room for the 12 of us and with the swimming and fishing off the dock plus the beach, sitting in the hot tub seeing the most gorgeous sunsets ever! The huge front yard for games and kids to run! They loved the play structure! We had great fires with so much room for all. Cabin is beautiful and super clean. We have so many good memories from our week there. We will be back !!! Tara , Richard and family

We stayed in Chalet 6 which is right in the middle of all the cottages. Beautiful views. Picnic table and fire pit right in front. Balcony with a hot tub. Very clean and the grounds were well kept. Very helpful people if you needed anything. I would recommend renting the kayaks and canoe, lots of fun. You can swim out in front of your cabin (recommend water shoes) or it is a short walk to the beach. Fishing can be done all over. There is a store at the lodge if you need any essentials. Firewood is a bit expensive. Horseshoes and a play structure is available for all cottages. For a treat there is a roadside food truck called the porkchop grill that is about a 5 minute walk down the highway or a short drive. Food is excellent and the owners are nicertain people. Day excursions are available on a pontoon boat. Just have to ask one of the guys riding around on a calm day. I would definitely go again and maybe during the winter as they are 4 season cabins. The cottages are a little close together but they still feel very private. Chalet 6 has the most trees in front so we were well shaded from the sun when we wanted to be. The cottage has central air so easy to cool off inside if needed. Plenty of dishes and other cooking tools so leave yours at home. Large BBQ on the deck. It was very quite when we were there. But when someone was playing music outside you could not hear it in the cottage at all. Our week there was so relaxing and fun, I can't wait to do it again.

Hi Terry, Our stay was fantastic! We certainly had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and stocked with anything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and certainly enjoyed the a/c since it was so hot!
We invited our parents out and my father-in-law brought out his boat. Fishing was good. Mostly drum. But got a few nice walleye as well!
My daughter came for a few nights with the grand kids and it worked out great with the bunk beds. Play structure and beach so close was a bonus as well
As far as a return date we are thinking about maybe a New Years visit. We'll bring the snow machines and ice fishing equipment. We'll decide on that soon.

It was great. The kids love so much going up there to visit their Aunty. I am in the process of trying to put together a group of friends to come up during the winter. At the end of July I brought up a few Co_Workers and they were blown away with it and they all want to make it an annual or semi annual trip up. It is such a great place to relax and unwind.

I don't have to recommend to make the trip up to any of my friends as they all dying to make it out.

This has been our best family vacation so far.
