| We enjoyed our stay at this tucked away cottage in Kincardine; a place near and dear to our hearts. The view from the deck is beautiful and Lake Huron sunsets rarely disappoint! We experienced big wave days and ones so calm the water was as clear as glass, so that was a treat. We can't control the weather but got lucky with some lovely beach-friendly days.
The beach in this area is large, well-groomed and private with lots of lake shore to walk along. We also appreciated there were nice chairs, a swing and picnic table for our use.
The owners are friendly, quick to help out with anything we needed, and easily accessible as they live on the same property (in a separate home).
The cottage features a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and living room furniture. Ceiling fans throughout helped with the hot weather, though it did make me nervous to have one so close to the top of the bunk bed occupied by my sons; a portable one placed lower in the room might be better there.
Overall very pleased with our stay and would consider returning in the future (which is really the best review of all, isn't it?). Thank you.

| We had a great week at Sandy Shores. It was a very short drive to Kincardine, which allowed us to pop-out and do some activities there; while at the same time it was very secluded, making us feel like we had the lake all to ourselves. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the perfect size for a family vacation. We enjoyed playing at the beach, watching sunsets on the beachfront swing and campfires. The owner, Theresa, was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend to any families looking for a little get away.

| This cottage is my favourite place I have ever stayed. The cottage is clean and beautiful. It has everything you could think of, the owners have done an amazing job to make you feel comfortable. The furniture and beds are comfortable and the utensils have everything you could ever need to cook anything. The best part is the beach is only steps away, and you can sit on the porch watching the most breathtaking sunsets. Just listening to the water is so peaceful. The owners Teresa and Mike are so friendly, they live down farther closer to the beach and are there if you need anything. They are far enough away you feel like it's a different property. They do not bother you at all, but are so friendly to talk to and are there if you need anything.
I Stayed with my family 3 and 6, they loved it along with my husband and our dog, and my parents. We all had an amazing time and didn't want to leave.
Can't wait to go back next year

| This was the first time we rented a cottage for a family vacation. We came from different parts of Ontario. Our oldest daughter, her husband and twin babies, our youngest daughter and Nana and Papa. The cottage has everything you need and is so comfy cosy. Beautiful sunsets , family time by the bonfires, room to play yard games, golf near by and day trips to different places in the area. Owners are wonderful and very accommodating. Thanks for the memories.

| Myself, my husband, 6 month old and 2 dogs had a great time staying at this hidden gem. This cottage was nice, clean, updated and had everything you could possibly need. Sitting on the porch listening to the water and watching the sunset was just beautiful. The owners are on same property in their separate home which is closer to the water, which is nice to have if you need anything or have any questions. We would definitely rent this place again and recommend anyone wanting to get away from the busy life we all have and relax by the water.
