This summer have your morning coffee watching the sunrise across a brilliant river view vista, Maybe bike to the Creamery for an ice cream cone or a late breakfast at The Point Lounge. And then spend the afternoon floating on the river doing blissfully nothing and then in the evening head downtown Ottawa to the Byward Market.
Constance Bay Village is an intriguing cottage community located 40 Km upstream from Ottawa on the Ottawa river. Sited on a sandy peninsula and nestled in the Torbolton Forest Reserve it combines both the classic Canadian cottage community but is only minutes from the city.
Our fully furnished four season waterfront cottage is located right on the waterfront with one of the best golden sand beaches in the area and offers a magnificent view of the Gatineau hills backdropping the Ottawa river as it sweeps down to Ottawa. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and also a sofa bed in the lounge area for additional guests.
The beach offers a safe swimming area and since the river is fully navigable (~45 km) between Britannia Bay and Fitzroy Harbour and over 3km wide, it is also an excellent location for the boating, sailing and fishing enthusiast.
The cottage sleeps up to six, contains a full updated kitchen, large eating area and a river side lounge with fireplace and panoramic windows overlooking the beach. The unit is fully furnished, guests only need to bring sheets, bedding (duvet/
blankets) towels, food and personal items.
