Welcome to Port Wood Cove Beach House! This deluxe, fully equipped cottage overlooks the spectacular Northumberland Strait, on the Southern shore of Eastern P.E.I. The beautiful sandy beach with its sprawling sandbars at low tide is just 20 steps off the front deck. The cottage is nestled in a quiet location, with an open concept kitchen, dining and livingroom area and vaulted ceilings. Also features ceramic and hardwood floors throughout, and all the modern conveniences. Relax on the long sandy beach or the fully furnished deck or screened in room and enjoy the magnificent view of the water, and at times, the seals basking on the rocks nearby. Beautiful sunsets, bonfires at night and the soothing sounds of the rolling waves can also be enjoyed from this spectacular beachfront location.. Waterfront: Sandy beach just 20 meters from front deck! Heating: Heat pump and electric baseboard Guests allowed: Yes. Sleeps maximum 6 people Smoking: No. Smoking permitted outside cottage only Equipments: The cottage provides three bedrooms; two with a queen bed, and one with single bunkbeds. The kitchen is fully equipped with a smooth top range, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and numerous small appliances and utensils including a large lobster pot. The livingroom offers comfortable seating, a stereo/ CD/DVD/VCR, and Netflix.
Cottage also includes a full bath and washer/dryer. Bath towels, beach towels, and extra bed linens provided. 2 Kayaks, a paddle board, lifejackets, BBQ, and beach/sand toys also provided on-site for your enjoyment.

Payments payable by cheque, e-transfer, or cash, preferrably in Canadian dollars; however, US dollars based on daily foreign exchange accepted. | Our family was so pleased to have been able to spend 2 glorious weeks in this beautiful beach house. The instructions to get there were perfect, the welcome was very warm and we were made to feel at home right away, Yes we were there for a hurricane - Dorian did give us a ride on the Island but we felt very safe. One inconvenience was the cut in the power as many on the Island experienced and Barb and Ron kept an eye on us and offered to help in any way they could. We stayed after the storm because we loved the location and the home and hope to return in a not-too-distant future. A perfect place to stay and to travel around PEI from.
