| While not directly on the water, the view is still spectacular and you are a short, comfortable walk to the shared dock. The cottage is spacious and immaculately clean, and the owners go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Know that when you rent the cottage, you become a member of a welcoming community of cottagers who live in this little alcove. And you are a 10 minute bike ride from tree top trekking, Brown's Bay and other 1000 Island attractions. We rented for a weekend and can't wait to get back for another stay.

| I enjoyed my weekend stay so much last year, that I returned this year for a 5-night stay with my sister and her husband. We were not disappointed! We all throughly enjoyed our time at this bright and cheerful cottage. The people (inlcuding the owners of this cottage) in this Vicotorian-style cottage community in Butternut Bay are very friendly, the grounds are extremely well kept, and the view of the river--especially the full moon rising and reflecting in the river our last night there which made for great photos--was gorgeous! Too bad the 5 days went by so quicly! Once again, thank you, Denise and Jim, for a very memorable holiday!

| I stayed at this cottage for 3 nights in October, wanting to get away from the city and a change of scenery and some rest and relaxation. I enjoyed it very much, especially at this time of year with the fall colours! The cottage is bright and clean, and I especially love the open concept living/dining area with floor to ceiling windows on all three sides, with views of the river in front and forested areas to the sides. The large deck is amazing, with plenty of seating area for outdoor dining, BBQing, and relaxing on the Adirondack-style chairs to take in the beautiful views, including the sunrise over the river. It's a short walk down to the large communal dock, another great location to sit and watch the ships go by and view the cliffs. It was a peaceful, relaxing stay for me, but too short! I hope to return for a longer stay next year, with one or more of my sisters. Thank you, Denise and Jim!

| I have stayed at this cottage 3 different summers, most recently last week. There have been recent upgrades to the windows and the addition of a lovely deck which now provides a place to sit and eat outside. Beds are comfortable, and fans are provided in all rooms for comfort when it is hot. The kitchen is well outfitted with utensils, pots, dishes and glasses. The couches in the living area are very comfortable. Swimming off the community dock is great - clear water and usually lots of people and activity. The people who oversee the cottage are nearby and easily contacted with questions or requests. Cottage is very clean.
