Taransay Cottage is situated on the shores of Lake
Erie about 25 minutes from port dover and 35 minutes to Long Point. The closest towns are Fisherville and Selkirk both with convenience stores selling alcohol. Fisherville has a gas station.The area is quiet and peaceful good for families. I would consult the Town of Haldimand and the Town of Norfolk tourism websites for numerous outdoor pursuits such as swimming, fishing , boating and wineries.
