NOTES YEAR REVIEWS | Colin | |
| A very clean and well stocked cottage that contained everything we needed for our weeks stay. The welcome note and raspberry pie was a great touch. The views of the lake and forest were awesome at this time of year. There are great places to walk close by and plenty of things to take in at Gravenhurst - Muskoka Lake cruise was great. Enjoyed the use of the paddle boat and kayak. The entire process of contacting and renting this location was very easy. Beth and Rob are great hosts. We would visit here again.

| What a wonderful week we had and what a warm welcome - a delicious blueberry pie and note from the owners. We paddled around the end of the lake, walked local trails and enjoyed the beautiful views. Absolutely perfect with the leaves in front of our cottage turning red. In addition to the local animals that one of the previous commenters listed, we saw wild turkeys, herons and a muskrat. I think it was the loveliest cottage I've ever stayed in, with all the comforts and conveniences of home, plus so many extras like the boats, dock, the Bell satellite, and that awesome bedroom view. Very quiet too! Looking forward to future visits.

| I didn't want to leave!! I stayed in the cottage for 3 months to get away from city life and got to see the seasons change from a chilly March spring with a frozen lake and bare trees to a beautiful summer. Each with its own beauty. It was the most relaxing and wonderful place. The cottage is so cozy and cute and the lake view is incredible. It was the perfect size for me alone but also for when my parents stayed in the second room when they came to visit.
Beth and Rob really thought it through and made sure the kitchen is equipped with anything you could ever need while you are there. It also came with life jackets and games, so perfect for families. Really enjoyed our bbq's there and taking a spin on the paddle boat around the lake.
The neighbours are all very quiet and respectful so you can truly relax and enjoy. When I was there, there wasn't many people around in the week. The water was so warm by the end of June and the swimming was incredible. It's a clean cozy little lake, beautiful wildlife everywhere (birds, friendly chipmunks, turtles) and also very close to the town of Gravenhurst.
The owners, Rob and Beth are great people and were on hand when I needed something and Rob told me about some great trails to visit in the area. I would highly recommend staying here and am looking forward to going back again in the future!

| This cottage really was everything we could have hoped for. The lake was spectacular. Long and narrow, there really weren't many speedboats going by, so it was completely peaceful. And the views were amazing: we faced one cottage on the far shore, and the rest was untouched wilderness and rock cliffs. Beautiful. The cottage was so close to the lake that you only saw water out the window from the master bed (and from the large deck where we enjoyed our meals). An unforgettable way to start each day! The building itself was superb. A little small perhaps, but that totally suited us. Everything was in great shape and clearly was renovated not long ago. It had all of the modern touches you'd want. So clean too. This was no rustic getaway. Also, the swimming was excellent. The lake was clean, and we made great use of the canoe and paddle boat. With so few people around through the week, we felt like we had it all to ourselves. In truth, there were several cottages in close proximity, but during the week, no one was around. Our private heaven. We'd totally go back. Finally, the owners were super easy to deal with. Friendly and helpful. They even went out of their way to welcome us with a little gift/info package. Nice touch.

| We love this little lake and well equiped, cheeful, contemporary cottage. Modern amenities in good working order, new build so not musty, with lots of room, a delightful view of the lake from the bed, living room, deck and kitchen. Quiet and comfortable, close to town if you need supplies, but still manages to feel quite private and remote! New floating dock installed this year for GREAT swimming (swam all the time, good for diving or just swimming around). Great screened in windows for ventilation, ceiling fans & a great tree to sit under by lake if you prefer shade.
