| This was our third stay at Big Gull Lake Executive Lodge. There were 11 adults, 3 teenagers, and 3 children. Over the years, Eamon has maintained the property and the house and it was as clean and welcoming as ever. He is a great host - always very responsive and accomodating. Inside the house, each of the 5 main bedrooms has its it own private bathroom (the lower level also has its own bathroom), and the kitchen / outdoor eating areas are quite large. There was space for everyone to have some privacy and also enjoy time together at meal times. The swimming is fantastic. There are two sides of the point to swim on, so you can pick based on where the sun is shining and where the wind is blowing each swimming area has large lounging areas and easy access into the water. the property is quite large, so there is a lot to explore. The lake is very secluded. Almost no boat traffic, and it's hard to see any other cottages. I'm hopeful that we we will return to Big Gull lake again in the future

| We have been renting lakeside cottages for over twenty years and none can match this magnificent, magical mansion. The setting is the ultimate in privacy: at the end of a long, meandering, up-and-down, road through the woods ? such fun to drive; there are no neighbours for kilometers on the road. Neighbours across the water are also kilometers away. The mansion sits near the end of a wooded peninsula with moss-and-pine-needle-soft paths to the point. It has spacious decks on two sides for groups or to find a quiet corner to read. The water is clear and clean and weed-free for swimming - on the east side in the morning and the west side in the afternoon. The magic continues inside: the bedrooms are spacious, quiet, and have ample windows onto the woods with first class mattresses and linens; the living and dining areas are also generous and welcoming with special mention due the vast, screened-in porch ? we loved family dinners on the porch at the round table with the lazy Susan. Finally, there is magic in the furnishings and art objects throughout; the owners have exquisite taste and have collected fascinating and functional twig/branch/wooden furniture and furnishings complimented by sculptures, paintings, fabrics, and photographs inspired by the forest and lake. Year after year we have been inspired, intrigued, and warmed by the comforts and delights of this magical place.

| We had a wonderful time at Eamonn's cottage. It was beautiful, quiet, and remote. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for our group of 3 families. The cottage was clean, the kitchen very well equipped (just make sure to bring some cooking basics such as spices, sugar, oil, etc). We absolutely loved the screened in porch and the care that has been taken to ensure that the cottage is bug free! We brought a trailer with kayaks and had no problem reaching the cottage via the dirt road. Definitely recommend bringing or renting kayaks or other water equipment. Would also recommend buying groceries and water in advance so you do not have to go shopping during your stay, it is a bit of a trek to the store. Overall, an amazing stay. We would come back in a heartbeat.

| This place is unbelievable. The drive in is breathtaking, serene. The place itself is huge, pictures don't do it justice. Plenty of room, we had 12 of us there and never did it feel crammed at all. The verandah at night is incredible, fully bug proof. The peninsula at night is stunning, countless stars, satellites flying above and shooting stars. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, cooking materials, plates. The two fridges are a nice touch as well. Eamonn was very responsive when we needed propane for barbeque. The fire pit is located on edge of the lake with plenty of sitting area, making for incredible pictures. It was a slice of heaven, and we can't wait to go back with our families.

| Wow! What a cottage. The place is very spacious with 7 bedrooms. The pictures don't do it justice. Each room has its own bathroom. You can tell that the owners put a lot of love into this cottage. The views are just stunning everywhere you look. We were 11 people and felt we had lots of space.
Outside, there are firepits and seating areas for all moods and times of the day. The deck is huge and perfect for outdoor workouts, playing games or just chilling. If there are bugs, you can move to the fully screened in verandah. The lake was so fresh and great to swim in. The sunsets, and the stars were incredible.
The kitchen is well stocked. The coffee maker wasn't working and Eamonn had a brand new one on hand which worked perfectly. There are 2 fridges which is great.
If you are looking for an amazing, private retreat, I would highly recommend this place.
