| We had an awesome time staying here! It was a wonderful summer getaway for my husband, me and our 2 year old daughter.
The house is very clean, nice comfortable beds, full kitchen with anything you could want. There were pantry items available to use in the kitchen as well which was convenient.
Large deck with 6 person patio set with a view of Lake Erie. The private beach is just a 2 minute walk through the beach grass. Fire pit is half way between the house and waters edge.
The location is great, a five minute drive from Main Street Port Stanley. You can also walk to the main beach area of Port Stanley via the road and a pathway - about a 20 minute walk or a quick bike ride where there are a few beach restaurants etc.
We did the train ride one day which was a fun way to spend an hour. Lots of icecream from Broderick's and dinner at GTs on the beach - battered Perch and Pickerel was great!
Rita and Stephen were super helpful with any questions we had as well.
There are quite a few dogs in the area/neighbouring cottages but all were leashed/tied and well behaved.
Overall a great place for a family vacation!
