Our 4-season cottage on Cranberry Lake is located on the amazing Rideau Canal waterway system - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cottage is just 15 minutes from Kingston and Gananoque, and is less than 10 minutes from a well stocked grocery store, LCBO and convenience store. Enjoy outdoor cooking by the sunset? You will love our the deck overlooking the lake. Bake your signature pizza on our Gozney Dome pizza oven or grill a perfect steak on our Weber grill. Our Kingston area vacation home is equipped with almost everything you will need for your vacation, however, we do ask our guests to please bring their own sheets, comforters, pillows, towels, tea towels and dish clothes. If you are interested, we offer an optional linen package. Please enquire about rates if you would would like linen provided and ready for your stay. Please note that, for the enjoyment of our family and all our guests, we limit the rental to a maximum of five (5) people and we have a strict no pet and no smoking policy. The cottage is ideally located within a short drive from Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and the US Border at New York State.
Cranberry Lake is part of the UNESCO historic Rideau Canal system. Cranberry Lake adjoins Dog Lake, Little Cranberry Lake and Whitefish Lake without the need to go through the lock system. Why not travel to Kingston by boat through the locks? If you leave in the morning, you will be eating lunch on one of Kingston's restaurant patios by noon.
Fishing enthusiasts flock to these lakes, which are well known for bass and pike fishing. Like canoeing or kayaking? The cottage comes equipped with both a canoe and two kayaks to explore the nearby islands. Want to go for a hike, snowshoe or cross country ski? Enjoy a private 2 kilometer marked trail through our woods and fields. If the weather cooperates, bring your skates and enjoy our lake rink.
You will be within a 30 minute drive to Historic Fort Henry, the Thousand Islands Boat Cruise, the Gananoque Casino, and downtown Kingston's patios, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is only 10 minutes away from free outdoor pickleball courts and a public beach. If it is a bad weather day, visit Kingston's IMAX theatre - only a 20 minutes drive from the cottage.
In the summer months we rent from Friday at 4:00 p.m. to Friday at 10:00 a.m. with a one week minimum stay. In the off season, our minimum nightly rental is 3 nights.

NOTES A $500.00 refundable security deposit is required upon booking byway of interac e-transfer. The renter agrees that the security deposit will become a non-refundable cancellation fee if the renter cancels the reservation within 60 days of the check-in date and the owner is unable to rent the property for the same period and rate. | Cottage was lovely in a very private and peaceful location. Kitchen was very well equipped and having a dishwasher was a nice bonus. Ceiling fans kept the cottage cool and comfortable. Beautiful large deck with a high end bbq. This is one of the nicest cottages we have rented. Was a pleasure dealing with the owners. Thank you Jennie and Tony.

| My wife, two teen boys (17 and 15), and I had a wonderful stay at your cottage on Cranberry Lake. The location was peaceful and very beautiful, with stunning lake views and a relaxing atmosphere. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
We especially enjoyed swimming and paddleboarding in the evening on the calm, very warm lake with the sunset in the background, exploring the 2 km of hiking trails, relaxing on the deck, and taking in the quiet surroundings. There was plenty to do (board games, watching FIFA world cup, kayaking) while still feeling like a true escape from the busyness of everyday life.
Jennie as a host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in (thank you for the delicious cherry pie) to check-out. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway near Kingston with great opportunities for hiking, swimming, paddling, and relaxing.
We would happily stay here again!

| I LOVE this cottage -- the lake is quiet and beautiful, the cottage is fully equipped and very clean and comfortable, and the owner is delightful. Communication was smooth throughout, and we had a lovely time canoeing around the lake or just relaxing on the deck. A perfect week!

| Serenity & Bliss
What a relaxing, resourcing two-weeks we have spent at this beautiful cottage! We agree with all the other guests raving about this place. It sure must be a fun place for families, but it is also wonderful as a retreat for couples to meditate, write, draw, paint, do some birdwatching and of course swim in this gorgeous, quiet lake with no traffic... Anything and everything in such a calm environment, surrounded by beautiful nature. The cottage has all the amenities we could wish for and even more. It is close to other great places to discover. And of course, Tony and Jennie are exceptional hosts. Thank you for your generosity ! Truly a summer of bliss and serenity on Cranberry Lake. Will definitely return.

| We had a wonderful 1 week stay at this cottage. We especially enjoyed paddling to all the nearby islands, swimming off the dock and reading in the hammock on the point. The natural beauty of the area is outstanding and there are lots of swans, loons and turtles to see. There's also a large deck that overlooks the lake with plenty of Adirondack chairs and 2 loungers. The cottage was extremely clean and updated. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is in good working order. The wifi was solid. The shower was hot with good pressure. The owners are very friendly and responsive to any questions you may have.
