Tranquillity on Purdy Lake - Combermere, Ontario Welcome to our family cottage on Purdy Lake, we are located 25 minutes north east of Bancroft in the heart of the Madawaska Valley on beautiful, scenic Purdy Lake. Our cottage has been home to our family for over 50 years. We are located on the north side of the lake - home to only six cottages ensuring peace, tranquillity, and privacy. We prefer to accommodate small families (groups of 4) and/ or couples. We are a pet free cottage.
Our 150 ft southern exposure waterfront lot (beside 100s of acres of crown land) will afford you the opportunity to enjoy the water all day long. Kids will appreciate the hard packed sand bottom that is gently sloped and provides easy access for all ages.
If sitting on the dock is your thing with your morning coffee or afternoon drink, you will appreciate the large, solid, composite dock that allows you to take in the beautiful views of Purdy Lake.
Purdy Lake provides an excellent opportunity for exploring. Given that over seventy five percent of the lake being crown land, the beautiful lake views and shoreline are mostly undisturbed.
The fisherman at heart will enjoy fishing for Lake Trout, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Pike and Pickerel. If you're intending to bring your own boat, we have a private boat launch on our property, as well as a public boat launch on the lake.
Inside our cottage you will find a comfortable, well equipped set up for your family to swap city life for cottage life. You will appreciate the spacious living room, updated 3 pc. bath, updated kitchen cabinets with new appliances, and a dining room table all with terrific lake views.
All three bedrooms come equipped with new mattresses, individual ceiling fans and baseboard heating. Comforters and pillows are supplied (you are responsible for your own linens).
Bedroom 1: queen bed; Bedroom 2: two singles; Bedroom 3: queen bed.
Outside, you will be able to enjoy the peaceful lake views from the large covered porch, and various large level plateaus. BBQ complete with propane tanks, and lakeside fire pit with plenty of firewood.
Day tripping opportunities throughout Madawaska Valley are endless, such as visiting art galleries and shops in Maynooth; hiking in Algonquin Park; exploring the Bonnechere Caves; and visiting Canada's first Polish Settlement in Wilno.

| Our family just spent a week at Tranquility and thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is superb and the cottage is well stocked and well maintained with many recent upgrades. The covered deck is a great shelter from the sun or rain and perfect for relaxing. Loved the kayaks and the dock and we usually saw at least one loon cruising the lake during the day. Some nights the loon calls were incredible. Communication with Craig made all of the administrative stuff a piece of cake. He responded quickly to our queries and provided all the information we requested. A great place to spend a week in the summer. Thanks again.

| What a beautiful and well maintained cottage. Everything from the grounds, the cottage and the lake was very well maintained.
We loved getting up in the morning and sitting on the dock with our coffee. I must say that the dock was amazing!!
There was a few cooler and rainy days which we spend on their spacious porch. The kitchen has everything we needed and then some.
The owners were a pleasure to communicate with and a great host. Hoping to make the trip again next year. Thank you for everything!

| This was our first stay at this cottage. Tranquility is spot on. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities we needed. The lake was peaceful ant the waterfront dock was the ideal spot to relax . We enjoyed the kayaks , swimming from the sandy beach and great fishing. We would definitely go back and Craig was a pleasure to deal with.

| Our family has been coming here for 5 years now. We love the property, great for playing games, relaxing in the sun and swimming in the lake. So peaceful. Great fishing as well. Comfortable cottage and the covered porch is great as extra space for enjoying a coffee and reading a book.
Owners are a delight to deal with. Comes well equipped and clean. Plan to be back again.

| We enjoyed our stay at Craig's family cottage. Dock is solid and made for easy access to the nice Sandy shallow water. Our younger swimmers enjoyed the swim platform as well.
Lots of great fishing. Cottage was clean and comfortable.
Only request would be railings on the steps to the cottage for accessibility.
