Located on Long Island, Brier View Cottage is steps from the ocean. The property sits on 18 acres of land and has 300 feet of waterfront. It has a beautiful view of Petite Passage, Brier Island and Peter's Island, which has a functioning lighthouse. The sunsets are spectacular all year long and this area is renowned for some of the strongest tides in the world.

The property has many flower gardens and there is always something spectacular in bloom. We encourage visitors to enjoy any of the sitting areas in the gardens.

There are many hiking trails that are accessible from the home, the closest being Dartmouth Point which is a 120 acre parcel where seals and other wildlife can be frequently sighted. This trail is a 3-minute walk from the house and is situated on the tip of the island and has spectacular views of St. Mary's Bay and the surrounding areas.

The house is newly renovated and has 4 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and can accommodate up to 8 people. A well equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, but for people who prefer to dine out, we recommend Grandview on Brier, which has delicious seasonal seafood and homemade desserts.

High speed internet is included. This home is available for rent during the summer, on a weekly or monthly basis.

The house rents for $250 per night and $1500 a week. Contact us if you would like it for a longer period of time.

Note: Long Island is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. There are several whale watches on the islands, as well as many hiking trails. Four functional lighthouses on Long and Brier Island are wonderful hiking destinations, as well as the famous Balancing Rock Trail.
