| We recently stayed at this cottage. We had the best time ever ! We rent another cottage in September for 10 days and didn't think this one would compare! We were wrong. It has everything you need it is clean comfy and beautiful. The deck, dock awesome unfortunately because of the time of the year we didn't use a lot of the outdoor amenities! But we had the best weather and a panoramic view of autumn. Definitely would recommend to young and old we celebrated our 45 th Anniversary it was the best! Kristina was available for any queries! Go stay you won't regret it! Really didn't want to leave.

| Another great year in the books.
We go up in the fall every year - this year was as good as any other. The location is fantastic; it's easily accessible by car, yet once there feels very remote. The cottage is comfortable, clean and has all the necessary amenities. It's an idyllic setting that feels very serene. Morning coffee is my moment of zen, whether at the kitchen table or out on the deck with a fantastic view of the lake (made even better when you catch the morning mist rising off Fairholme lake on a sunny morning). Canoeing the lake is a great way to unwind and unplug from technology. We REALLY appreciate there is a canoe (and kayaks!) available for use. Fall is a great time to go with the lake very quiet and trees starting to show their colours. Already looking forward to next year!

Owner response: Devon So glad you enjoyed your guy's weekend away at the cottage. I can't agree with you more about being able to unwind and unplug. When we are there we barely have the TV on just because it is so nice to be enjoying the outdoors. Glad you got use of our new additions to the cottage, the kayaks are a great way to get out on the lake and explore. Looking forward to hosting your group again next year. Kind regards Kristina

| Thank you for the use of your beautiful cottage, Kristina. We had a wonderful time again this summer! Your cottage was clean and very comfortable for the seven of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in room in the mornings for reading with a cup of coffee or tea and the dock in the afternoon. The kids had a great time with the kayaks and paddle boat, and canoeing over to the jumping rock. Your neighbours are lovely too and we enjoyed chatting with them. It was nice to see the local wildlife from the sound of the loons, watching a blue heron land in the bay, the raccoon who stopped by one evening, and the humming bird who visited each morning. Thank you!

| A nice lake and the cottage is reasonably well equipped. However, there was a mice infestation and the cottage cleanliness was relatively poor.

Owner response: James Thank you for your review of our cottage, I will admit your review took me by surprised as all our previous guests have had positive experiences. Because it was our first 2/5 comment, I felt it was necessary to reach out to you personally for further clarification and better understand your specific concerns. In your email you outlined a few items that you felt we could improve on, the kitchen drawers need cleaning, as does the BBQ and deck furniture. The BBQ was absent a wire brush for cleaning the grill. We acknowledge the outdoor furniture may not always be in tip top shape especially since we are surrounded by a mature forest which will drop leaves and other debris from the trees. This can be true if it has been particularly windy or raining that day or the cottage has been vacant for days or weeks between renters. To keep our costs down we do not have outside cleaning maintenance for the deck furniture. A new BBQ brush was placed underneath the BBQ the beginning of Aug, I'm not sure if it was misplaced elsewhere, but we do have spare BBQ brushes available in the laundry room. After a guest's departure my cleaner has between 11am - 4pm until the next guest's arrival. Where at least a minimum of 3 hours is done cleaning/lawn maintenance which is above and beyond how a previous guest may have left the cottage. Sometimes things do get missed in the cleaning process, however we will address drawers also being checked and cleaned, with our cleaner. You also indicated you saw a mouse and droppings on the floor. We take this very seriously and will look at additional means of preventing them from getting in, I will admit it can be rather difficult since we are in cottage country and surrounded by nature but will definitely address the concern. Again, I appreciate your honest feedback and will look to ways to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you Kristina

| Our week at the cottage couldn't have been better. Our hosts provided lots of information, the cottage was super well equipped and even the weather cooperated most days! Our family enjoyed so much time at the water fishing, kayaking around the lake and swimming right off the dock. The lake is quiet and never felt loud or busy. On the day it rained, we were comfortable inside with plenty of board games and movies to pass the time together. The friendly squirrels, chipmunks and hummingbirds became familiar and we enjoyed our coffee on the deck daily with them nearby. This cottage was a fabulous little haven for us to destress and enjoy time together as a family. Thanks for a great week - we hope to come back again soon!
