| We had a lovely and relaxing time at the Dacha where we stayed for one week! The property is stunning with a private deck right on the beach, spot to pitch the hammock, and a fire pit area. Lots of seating options all around the house, and a beautiful herb garden near the front. The cottage itself was clean and cozy, with a wood burning stove, a record player, and books to choose from for days. We loved starting off our mornings listening to records! The water was too cold to swim in, but the sun hot enough to tan. We took daily walks with our dog to the nearby beach, and did yoga on the deck. The sunsets were spectacular. The owner was super helpful and friendly, and accessible when we had questions. Overall, it was just the getaway we needed away from the city. Thank you, Alison!!

| My family stayed at the Dacha over the May long weekend and really enjoyed it. Although the weather was not the best we were able to spend some time outside and also had a nice fire going in the evening. Thanks to Alison for making sure there was wood and coal for the bar b que. I have to say the beds were very comfortable and the fact we did not have to carry linen was a bonus. The many games and old LP records kept us entertained. The cottage came well equipped and clean. Thanks again Alison.

| We had a great time at the Dacha and really enjoyed the beautiful waterfront with it's many spots for sitting and relaxing. The house was comfortable and it was great to have bedding provided. We loved being in the area as there was so much to do-- we cycled locally, visited the local sandy beach fronts (only 5 minutes away), did the boardwalks at Wye Marsh, and enjoyed the bakeries and coffee shops in Midland. The Dacha is a great for both those who wish to do nothing and those who want to be more active. Our only challenge was that the downstairs bedroom was quite damp, which is apparently due to this year's very high water levels on Georgian Bay and not the norm. Overall we had a great stay and would happily go back.
