Purdy Lake Cottage

We offer a wonderfully clean, comfortable, and well maintained cottage with a southern exposure on a private 100 foot waterfront lot that lets you enjoy the water all day long. All ages will love the gently slopped sandy bottom, huge 8' x 24' dock, and swim raft.

You can sleep 4 comfortably. Up to 4 people in the 2 bedroom main cottage and up to 2 people in the bunkhouse complete with bar fridge, TV, DVD player, and sitting area.

**Our Weekly Rental is from Sunday at 11AM until Saturday at 10AM**

Explore this quiet lake with the included Row Boat, 2 Kayaks, or 2 Canoes. Purdy Lake is well known for Lake Trout, Bass, Pike, and Pickerel.

The cottage itself is all you need to enjoy your family getaway in cottage country. Inside you'll appreciate the cozy living room complete with Bell Satellite TV and DVD player, renovated 4 pc bath and new appliances in the refreshed kitchen. Enjoy your meals on a rustic pine table overlooking Purdy Lake.

Outdoors you can enjoy the large wrap around deck with BBQ and a permanent lakeside fire pit, firewood provided. The lot is very well maintained and backs onto Crown Land with access to a 1km trail (The Baxter Trail). You can hike The Baxter Trail and discover the beauty of Eastern Ontario's woodlands.

Conveniently located only 3 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Ottawa, this cottage is suitable for the family who wants to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of cottage life. For the more adventurous, Purdy provides an ideal base for day tripping: from white water rafting on the Madawaska River, to guided horseback or ATV wilderness tours, from excursions to nearby Algonquin Park to exploring the Bonnechere Caves. The choice is yours to enjoy a wonderful vacation.
