LARGE GROUPS WELCOME!! Island Testimonial: As is sit writing this testimonial, I realize that through all my travels, this is the most beautiful place I have ever been to. Paris, Amsterdam... Nothing compares to Island Spirits (Grasshopper Island). We travelled here with three children (13, 11, 5), not once did the children go to the WiFi hotspot. We camped in our tent, woke up to the sound of rosters and pigs. It was magical. We walked around the island countless times enjoying the sites, signs, and of course collecting chicken eggs! Our children made friends with the goats, alpacas, mini donkeys and horses and the pigs (sort of). We made pizza in the 100 year old pizza oven, and trust me when I say it's a process. However, it's an experience that our kids never will forget. Captain T.J. what can I say about her? She's a wonderful person. She makes you feel like you're camping at home. She is a hard worker and one to be admired. Plus, she brings us snacks, ice and firewood (win)! Her staff are also courteous and helpful! If you faint at the sight of the outdoor toilets, you won't here! They're well kept. Plus, your children can't possibly clog them! Leave the fainting to the diabetic goat. We've stayed at many cottage resorts and camped at more places than I can count but never had the kids say "I would prefer to camp than stay at a cottage" or "I want to bring my kids here some day". I close by saying, this is hands down the best camping ever.
