| The cottage was clean, cozy and centrally located on manitoulin island. We were able to easily meet up with family and friends in all direction. The host is very helpful and friendly. They even had the camp fire prepped ready for a match to start it. Looking forward to return next year. Thank you.

| This place is a slice of heaven ! We are a family of 4 we have two boys 6 and 2 years of age and this place was perfect for all of us . Dena and Dave are wonderful hosts they have everything you need in the cottage, I was able to make a turkey dinner no problem. The cottage is clean and decorated with Denas beautiful hand made quilts and doilies ( she also sells beautiful hand made quilts, a definite must have ) she is a woman of many talents . The lake is very quiet perfect to relax . The fire pit is near the water so you will see the beautiful moon and stars so brightly. We had the perfect week and will definitely be booking next year ! Also the fishing is unreal here , I don't eat fish ?. Dave and my husband caught and cooked walleye and I absolutely loved it ,this island is truly magical and can't wait to return. Thank you Dena and Dave for the most wonderful hospitality , it's a week we will hold forever in our hearts THIS COTTAGE IS A 100% MUST DO !!

| This cottage is a paradise for those seeking peace, privacy and nature. It's well maintained and very clean, with comfy beds and newly renovated bathroom. It has a beautiful deck where you can enjoy your coffee and meals under the canopy of trees throughout the day. Lots of seating arrangements are available at the lake and on the large private dock, where sun comes early in the morning. The lake is very peaceful and not too deep, so perfect for swim even on a rainy day. The best part for us was the kindness of our hosts and their genuine care for our wellbeing. The guide prepared by Dena, as well as guests' book provide lots of tips on places to visit and food to taste in the surrounding area.

| We had a wonderful time at this cottage. It was clean and well kept and stocked with everything we needed. Our hosts Dena and Dave were very helpful and friendly. We loved just sitting on the dock and relaxing. Even on a holiday weekend, this lake was peaceful and quiet. Hardly any bugs and nice and cool. The location is excellent because most attractions on the island are within 30 miles. Would definitely recommend this rental!

| We had such a wonderful time at this lovely cottage! The cottage had everything we needed and the waterfront access just over the road was perfect. It was so beautiful and quiet sitting on the dock - only the sound of loons and water washing against the dock and shore could be heard. We enjoyed a canoe ride, pedal boat ride and a swim through the week. Our favourite thing was the fire pit right by the shore. We had a fire almost every night and watched the sunset. They also provide a smaller fire pit right in front of the cottage. The location of the cottage is great - just 20 minutes from the ferry and centrally located so it's easy to get to many locations on the island. We loved the island and saw so much wildlife! A highlight was visiting the Alpaca farm. Inside the cottage, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the satellite tv was nice the one evening we were too tired to play a game after hiking (bring some DVD's if you like movies!). The only improvement we would recommend is upgrades to the couch/chairs as they sit very low and can be a bit hard on the back. Our hosts were really friendly and easily available, but also allowed us privacy. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and we definitely hope to return next year!
