| It was a very positive experience. The cottage was clean and spacious. When it says fully equipped kitchen they mean just that. I DID bring my own slow cooker but that's just me lol. Close to beach 4 and easy walking distance to beach 3 so our dog could enjoy swimming in Georgian Bay. The downstairs was a bit cluttered with a variety of toys snd we never did find the remote for the tv. That was okay though because we weren't there to watch TV anyway and thanks to the incredibly reliable wifi we had our tablets. Close to all amenities and they mean it when they say you can walk to Timmies and Macdonald's. Our 17 year old grandson loved the fire pit and s'mores were on the agenda. We had a very relaxing week and would definitely come back. Oswald was very easy to work with - excellent communication from the time we first booked to the moment we arrived. Thanks Again.

| This is our second stay here (summer of 2018 and 2021). Most recently we were 6 adults plus a toddler. The location is amazing. Super close to the beach - probably a 1 min walk - quiet dead-end street. Very close park for kids and lovely areas for our morning strolls. Central to everything in and around Wasaga. Cottage is clean and in excellent working order. Air conditioning, heating, good wifi, huge TV. Our dealings with the owner were great. With our recent visit there was a mix up with something. He quickly identified that he had made an error. Called to own it and went to considerable expense (without any complaint) to fix it. We are already planning our next trip :)

| Perfect Location!! 1 minute walk to the beach and 30 seconds to the playground. Our daughter, who is just turning 3, was in heaven. Very spacious cottage on a family friendly street. We had wonderful stay and will be looking to book next year. Thank you Oswald and Vita!!!

| 3 days before our vacation, the owner told us that he accidentally double booked the cottage - so he cut our 7 night stay to 4 nights. I booked this cottage several months earlier (paid our deposit) for 7 nights in July 2020. I asked the owner to honour our reservation because we booked first. He told us the other renters would receive the weekend and we could only have Sunday to Thursday. How could I book a different cottage with only 3 days notice in the month of July? So our family had no choice but to accept these terms. I was in contact with the owner during the COVID-19 pandemic (June) and he never mentioned double booking. He reassured me everything would be alright for July. The first night we arrived we called the owner about a recurring problem ? no answer. The owner never answered our message or resolved the problem. The owner was quick to respond to our messages when we are interested in booking the cottage. After he had our money and we were at the cottage he either didn't respond or was slow to answer emails, text messages and voicemails. One of the bedrooms advertised was in the basement ? which was very cold and smelly. The crib advertised was wobbly. We were not sure if the crib met current safety standards so we chose not to use the crib. The security deposit was not automatically returned after three days and we had to call the owner to remind him. We left the place spotless and the owner did return the deposit (5 days later).

Owner response: HI. I agree that you booked the cottage in Feb and during COVID my system crashed and I lost your booking. I totally agree it was my mistake and I took another booking by mistake. Up to that what you said was true however you left out all the other details, I had two bookings and i cancelled one of them as you booked first and the other person was coming from out of town and they had a special needs kids and there was a lot more ( which I told you on the phone ) and that is why i could not cancel the second booking. Also what you did not write on the review and conveniently omitted was first I offered a full refund and said i will accommodate any way we can sort this out, I spoke to you on phone and text so many times and you say i did not respond or communicate with you. How come you did not mansion that i gave you over 50% discount, I gave you an early check in for 1 pm ( normal is 4pm) and a late check out at 3 pm (Normal at 11 am) and also waved the cleaning fee of $125.00. I also offered you to come back another weekend that way you have two vacations. I did more than compensate for my mistake. Also you mentioned about an recurring problem i have no idea what the problem nor do i have a text or email from you about it. Its the first time i see on the review and still you dont say what is the recurring problem is. The crib has been used by all our kids and so many people that has booked the cottage and its very safe and meets all safety standard as we are registered with the town. My daughter even to date at 6 years sleeps in it when ever we go to the cottage I know you are just looking for items to say bad about our cottage and as you could not find any thing you are making up things. If the basement was too cold you could have reduced the AC, You are the first person and I am sure the last to say about the basement small. We pay over $450 every time to clean the cottage and its professionally cleaned I respect you to write a review and As i said I am extremely sorry about the double booking but Please dont say false things and lie that is a sin.
