New Year Round Cottage Rental (June 2014) 80 Minute drive to Ottawa (To Scotiabank Place) 4 Hour drive to Toronto (Yorkdale Mall) This quiet, secluded retreat is situated on Black Donald Lake, which offers approximately 27 miles of accessible waterway as part of the Madawaska River System which extends from Lake of Two Rivers in Algonquin Park to the Ottawa River. The majority of the waterfront in the area is crown land and is uninhabited. It is close to a public boat launch (2 minute drive) and close to gas that is available on the water (less than 1 minute by boat). This cottage is brand new and offers 4200 sq/ ft of living space on three levels and 200 feet of waterfront. It boasts large bedrooms and living spaces, 3 baths, large eating areas, 2 screened in covered porches, 2-60 inch televisions with Blueray/DVD, Wifi, Bell ExpressVu, electric fireplace, Wii, Foosball table, Shuffle Board, pool table and ping pong table.

Outside we offer a BBQ, patio furniture, fire pit and a large private dock for great swimming. If you are bringing a boat, there will be parking available at the dock for you. You will also have use of 2 kayaks, and a paddle boat. There are plenty of areas to explore nature and to take advantage of nearby walking trails and ATV trails.
The lake offers great fishing which includes Northern Pike, Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, Pickerel (Walleye), Whitefish, Perch, or Rock Bass.

| We had a wonderful week at the Black Donald Oasis, and we can't wait to go back! The cottage was large, roomy and had everything you could ever need for an excellent vacation. Tons of fun to be had outside as well as inside.

| Fantastic stay. Beautiful location - overlooking the lake. Black Donald Oasis is a lovely, very well-equipped, tastefully decorated ?cottage? that can accommodate a large group, with 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a large yet cozy and inviting open concept living room/kitchen area with 2 side areas with large tables for eating/playing games etc. on the main floor, a basement games room (with a ping pong table, pool table, fusball and shuffle board) along with a comfortable seating area with a large screen TV. Although we didn't make use of them because of the time of the year we were there, there are also 2 screened in porches and a great deck area. The owners were very personable and amazing to deal with (actually went out of their way to make our stay possible). Great place to relax and connect with the people who are important to you. Almost hate to write such a good review only because then others will want to book and we are fearful there will be no availability when we try to book next time. Can't wait to go back!

| We had an absolutely unforgettable winter stay at this cottage. The view of the lake was beautiful and the nearby trails were a pleasure to explore. Skating on the lake was amazing and something the kids will always remember. The games room in the basement provided endless hours of fun as well.
The cottage is immaculately maintained with comfortable beds and all the amenities one could need. The hosts were very responsive to our few minor issues calling us immediately to sort things out.
We have already recommended this cottage to friends and would love to return in the future.
