This 15-year-old winterized Viceroy cottage has a bright spacious open concept kitchen, dining room and living room with warm hardwood floors. Lots of windows overlooking the lake. The master bedroom offers a queen size bed and large window overlooking the lake. There is a second upstairs bedroom with a double bed. The unique downstairs bedroom has two double beds which has a large garage door so you can sleep at the waters edge under the stars. The lower living room (den) has a propane fireplace to unwind at the end of a long day on the water. An additional futon will accommodate 8 people. The boathouse is equipped with air conditioning. *** There is another cottage on the property that we rent exclusively with the Boathouse for larger family gatherings. With both cottages you could sleep 14. The lakeside boathouse is very private. The swimming is excellent with lots of water toys provided. A public boat launch 100metres up road so bring your own boat to take advantage of fishing and water sports. You have a paddleboard, kayak, canoe, fishing boat (no motor), windsurfer and lots of water toys to enjoy your stay. Unwind at the end of the night around the large firepit which has seating and hydro for some music. Satellite TV with games, books, over 100 DVD's and two big screen TV's for those rainy days to sit and relax. + VIEW MORE - COLLAPSE Note: The Boathouse is close to Lake St. Peter provincial park half a km up road with a beach and hiking trails. Algonquin provincial park is a 20-minute drive and offers a nature lovers paradise. A General store now equipped with an LCBO is 4KM from the cottage. Bancroft is 25-minute drive and has Foodland, No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, Beer Store, boutique stores, restaurants and a hardware store.

| Great cottage. We had a great time at this cottage and just booked again for this year . the water was perfect temperature , they had all the water craft there to use . Fishing was good right off the dock (mostly little ones but a few 2-3 lb bass as well) i caught more bass in the lake as well as a pickerel( i didn't have too much time to fish so happy with what i caught in the time i spent . Not too busy during the week on the water , the weekend was a little busier but not too much traffic.The garage door bedroom was so nice during the day to get out of the sun if you need a break . we've tried different cottages for the last 6-7 years this is the first one we have booked again.

| My husband and I stayed for almost one week in June and absolutely loved this cottage. The cottage is clean, spacious, and bright and had everything we needed! The large windows at the front of the cottage provided beautiful views of the lake, the sunrise, and the stars and moon at night! We had a wonderful time kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, and lounging on the dock! The lake water was clean and even warm enough to swim in June! This cottage isn't too far of a drive from Brancroft and also close to Algonquin, were we went for a day to hike and explore! The owners we easy to contact and work with and had everything set up we needed for the week! Would highly recommend this place!
