"Moor to Sea" is a beautiful year-round cottage that was totally renovated , rebuilt on
a 1.5 acre waterfront property in 2012. Located on quiet Green Bay Road, in the small vibrant south shore
village of Petite Riviere - Moor to Sea is within walking distance of two white sand beach destinations
that are popular for tourists throughout the summer - Rissers Beach Provincial Park and Sperry Beach.
The cottage offers lots of charm and privacy with tongue-in-grove wainscoting, large sun filled windows, hardwood floors throughout as well as Central air to provide comfort in summer and heat in winter. These amenities along with the tasteful decorating have been carefully created to provide an oasis for families and friends to relax and enjoy.
The main floor is an open concept design with a high vaulted ceiling over the dining and livingroom area.
The kitchen is a gourmet cook's delight that includes a large center island so there's plenty of room for the
whole family to help in preparing meals. The livingroom offers a floor-to-ceiling surround fireplace that is guaranteed to add to the luxurious seaside ambience. Enjoy the outdoors from a large custom built deck
off the livingroom and extending along the entire length of the house, offering a spectacular view of the
water and sprawling backyard. From early morning to late evening the deck has become the main living
area during the summer months and beyond. Mature trees and flower gardens grace the property and
add to the privacy.
The main floor has a full bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds.
A laundry room off a large bright sun porch is also located on the main floor, and will help to make family rentals very comfortable. On the second floor is the master bedroom with ensuite that includes a claw foot bathtub and plenty of storage for all of your personal needs. Also on the second floor and overlooking the livingroom space below is a comfortable loft with a seating area where you can curl up with a good book.
The cottage is a smoke free environment and we ask all guests to respect this policy. Sorry, we do not accept weekend or 2 night stays.
