Located on beautiful Rylstone Lake, which flows into Crowe River.
To the East, the Lake eventually runs into Callahan's Rapids which flows from Crowe Lake to Crowe River. The Lake is a great fishing destination. Lots of room to bring your boat and tie it up on the dock. Swimming is not suitable from the shore.
Swimming is suitable out in the Lake.
Bring your kayaks or canoe to paddle this peaceful Lake.
Boat launch is available for the avid fishing person.
Our cottage is fully equipped with all the amenities inside and out. We have a firepit outside available to use year around. We have a beautiful propane firepit on the porch with seating to enjoy on the cooler nights.
We have a new Napoleon barbeque to cook under the covered porch.
Our cottage has infloor radiant heating to keep you warm in the cold winter nights and Mitsubishi heat pump for those hot summer days. New fridge, stove and dishwasher for your convenience.
We have unlimited internet with Bell Fibe Tv that is available for our guests.
We have your perfect wedding getaway as we are close to 3 beautiful Wedding Venues!
We can accommodate wedding parties to get dressed in our comfortable 1200 square foot cottage or have your family book it for a few guests. Book early for wedding weekends (Friday to Sunday) as there is limited availability for weekends in the summer!
We are on the preferred list of places to stay of the beautiful Venue “Riverstone on the Crowe” which is less than 10 minutes away from our cottage.
We are located 15 minutes from Campbellford or 10 minutes into Marmora.
Peterborough and Belleville are 45 Minutes away from our cottage.
The cottage is accessible year around and all on one floor. Great get away for seniors-no stairs.
We built the cottage 14 years ago with a beautiful view of the water and an open concept
with a beautiful covered porch facing the Lake.
If you are lucky you can see an owl resting in the tree, bald eagle, deer, otters and other birds and wildlife.
For the winter months we are conveniently located near the E107 Snowmobile Trail for all the avid snowmobilers. Ice fishing available out front. Bring your own ice auger and equipment.
