| We had an amazing stay. Karen and Alden are the ultimate hosts. Huge property with a horseshoe pit and lots of room for a dog to run around. I wouldn't call this place "cozy" because it's too big. We had room for our boat and launched it right there. A bottle of wine and freshly grown veggies were a really nice gift upon arrival too! We will definitely return. Thank you Karen and Alden. | Great cottage, private access to water and owners are amazing. Stayed here for a week with my family and our Great Dane. More than enough space for us clean, lots of natural lighting and great views of the river from inside. Lots of outdoor space on the property, fire pit and picnic area. My kids (5 yr and 20 months) loved going on the canoe and daily swimming. I've already recommended this cottage to family and friends. We'll definitely be back!

| I, my partner and our dogs enjoyed an excellent stay earlier this month at this beautiful, clean cottage. The tranquility that it brought us having come from the city was seriously appreciated. We chose the place because of its larger lot that served us very well as a dog run. I hadn't seen my senior bulldog run like that in forever! Privacy is what we were looking for and this place definitely delivered.
Due to the strange weather, we spent quite a bit of time inside the cottage but it was SO incredibly perfect for us. We also agree that it could easily provide a comfy time for a larger family given the number of beds, the size of the kitchen, and the available greenspace.
The view of the river from the huge, impeccably clear windows in the living room is unbeatable. The bed that we used was comfortable. Because of the rain, we did have to use the laundry facilities while we were there. That was a bonus for sure.
BBQ was great to have. Everything that you need to keep the place clean is there.
For cooking, the kitchen is very well stocked. The only gadgets that I brought that I ended up using were a meat thermometer and a garlic press. These are personal 'necessities' though.
The only thing that I would want to let a potential renter know is that the road in front of the property, down the hill seems to become a place that motorists use as a race track on the weekends. Could be a plus to enthusiasts! NBD for us and we would return!

| It was the perfect quiet and private escape! So happy to have left the city, the remote work days and the pandemic stress in the rear-view mirror! The cottage was cozy, clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. The view of the water from the living room was spectacular. There was as much to do as we wanted or nothing to do at all! Our goal was relaxation! I enjoyed reading my book on the private dock. Our family took in a peddle boat ride, played board games, enjoyed some badminton in the private yard and had campfires. The sounds of nature were constant and calming! We ventured over to Eagle's Nest, not to far away, and did the short hike. Our family definitely relaxed and enjoyed our time here.

| So thankful to spend time in this paradise! First, the owners were very quick in responding to our rental request. They greeted us upon arrival and let us know they were available to us at any time. The cottage was exceptionally clean throughout. The kitchen was very well equipped with pots, appliances, and utensils. The view was outstanding from the living room and kitchen. The backyard was very private, and they supplied the wood for a nice campfire. So thankful for the marshmallow roasting forks. They have thought of everything!! We loved the pedal boat and the canoe that were provided at the private dock. If we had more time, we could have rented a boat from the local rental company. Hiking to the Eagles Nest Lookout is a must and it was under 25 minutes to the peak! What a sight! The quad ride through the bush to see the land was the highlight of our time at the cottage. What a beautiful part of Ontario and we thank you for the opportunity for you to share part of your world with us!
