Pine Point is perfect for both family vacations and romantic escapes. This S/ W facing lakefront cottage is nestled on a large, very private lot, located on a point. Recently modified, this 2 bedroom cottage, with 2 sun rooms, a living room, a family room and a separate 1 bedroom studio shed; is quite spacious, yet it holds a coziness, with great rustic charm.
Start your morning enjoying breakfast with a cup of tea or coffee in the larger, bright sun room which is basked with early morning sunshine. This sun room, with its floor to ceiling windows and electric fire stove, offers beautiful vistas of the lake and the perennial garden. After breakfast, you can lounge and relax lakeside on the beautiful, sunny beach or on the sunset deck overlooking the lake. The sunset deck is a favourite spot to view the surroundings, enjoy cool, summery breezes and possibly observe some loons as they pass by. Cool off by taking a dip, or go for a swim in the sparkling lake waters where there is a gentle, clear, shallow entry, ideal for children. Explore and beach comb along the 300 feet of private shoreline. There is also a brand new stand-up paddle board that converts to kayak with a seat and games such as corn hole, croquet, badminton and ring toss. Bring your own boat or canoe and dock here for no extra fee. Lake St. Peter offers opportunities for boating, canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding. Try your luck fishing for lake trout, bass, and pickerel, then bbq your catch on the brand new grill for a delicious dinner!
At the front of the cottage in the original smaller sun room, you will find the perfect spot to read, relax, and take in marvelous lake views and the evening sunsets.
When evening comes, the larger sun room offers a great opportunity for a romantic evening dinner for two. Later, you can delight in watching some amazing sunsets either from the beach, the lakeside deck, or from inside the front sun room. Then follow up with an evening campfire beside the fire pit. For your entertainment, the family room has a separate area for watching movies and also has a collection of numerous board games.

| My husband and I stayed here for about a week at the end of September. It was a lovely spot to watch the fall colours change and go out for some kayaking trips around lake St. Peter. It was very peaceful, secluded, and cozy. Nadia was very helpful and even accommodated us adding an extra night with no hassle. Everything worked great, and even though it was starting to get a bit chilly outside we were nice and warm inside the cabin. We would highly recommend! Only issue you might have is the shower - if you're a bigger person it might be a bit cramped. We would definitely stay here again!

Owner response: Hi Emily, Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a positive review! We are delighted that your stay was relaxing, peaceful, and cozy. The leaves were especially gorgeous this fall, though every season at the lake offers something special. Take care and we hope to see you again! | |
