Our beach house rents by the week in July & August-shorter stays in spring&fall. It will make you feel like your down south, with its sand dunes, seagrass & its great
sandy beach, even its very own palm trees just like the caribbean.
You'll definitely feel you're truly getting away from it all!
The beach house has a spectacular view of Lake Erie - Port Maitland pier & lighthouse which is a short walk down our beach then stroll along the pier to the lighthouse or stop to fish on the pier.
Canoe and floating tubes available for your enjoyment.
Lake Erie is great for boating & the free boat launch could not be more convenient being right down the street.
The bonus is its a short drive from Niagara and NO TRAFFIC to deal with. You don't have to beat the rush, leave in the middle of the night or head home early. You can be chilling within the hour of leaving your home.
The beach house has amazing lake views from the kitchen, living room and dining room.
The living room has floor to ceiling windows with patio doors which open onto the deck so you can
enjoy the view no matter where you are.
One bedroom has a brand new queen sized bed & second bedroom has a new extremely comfortable double bed.
Living room has a new, comfy queen size sofa bed where you can settle down for the night, watching the waves.
The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped for your needs and 3-piece bathroom.
The deck has a propane BBQ, chairs & a lounge chairs for the beach.
We supply blankets, pillows and we ask our guests to bring their favourite linens and towels
to enjoy the home away from home experience.
We rent only by the week in July & August
Lake Erie is shallow and gets slowly deeper as you walk out so it's perfect for swimming.
Its the most southern lake in Canada and has the longest, warm water seasons anywhere in Canada.
Many local activities in the area - swimming, boating, fishing, golfing, biking, hiking, kayaking and shopping.
In July & August we rent by the week only. After Labour day weekend, we rent 2 night minimum stays.
Smoking outside only. No pets please.
Located on a quiet road that's good for cycling or running along the edge of the lake.
Parking for 2 cars on the property at the beach house.
We do ask for a $300 deposit to reserve your stay. We hope all our guests will make themselves feel at home in our place and you will treat it as you would your own home. We ask for an additional $300 damage deposit due before your arrival that is refunded upon inspection and no damage to our beach house & property.

10 minute drive to the town of Dunnville. Sobeys, Canadian Tire, Beer and liquor stores, Home Hardware, dollar stores, Tim Hortons. Great fishing. Speedboat races: Thunder on the Grand, Dunnville Mudcat festival. Excellent kayak outfitter (Grand River Kayak) with quality equipment for rent. You can paddle all day down the Grand River to Port Maitland, on Lake Erie and back again. Tackle and bait available at Port Maitland. Fish all day without a licence. Bing Island GRCA park at Dunnville. Walks, camping and 2 acre pool. Golf course nearby. Rock Point Provincial Park 15 minute drive. Day trip to Niagara Falls or Niagara on the Lake and back. Shaw Festival at Niagara on the Lake. In the fall check out the Lighthouse Theatre festival in Port Dover, West Niagara Fair, Welland Fall Fair, Caledonia Fall Fair and 4H animal show, Norfolk County Art Studio Tour, Brant County Art Studio Tour and the Norfolk County Fall Fair.
