| What a great little spot! We really loved the beach and found the cottage very comfortable. The owners were easy to work with, book with, and we didn't have any problems with our stay. There were a lot of beds available in several sizes, and good parking. The beach was clean, and I really enjoyed the access to Canoes and Kayaks. It was a very nice lake, not too much boat traffic because it was further down towards the end of the lake. There wasn't much to do close by, but we were looking for a week "in-the-woods" anyway, so that didn't bother us. The air conditioned wall unit really helped with a few of the days that were very hot.
A few draw backs for us: the main part of the lawn was either heavily slanted or a bit on the boggy side, so our 1.5yo had a few issues, however he spent most of his time in the water, so it wasn't a huge problem. The beach was fairly rocky, so getting in and out of the water, was a bit of a pain, but this has been a common problem with other places we have rented. I think a true sandy beach is pretty rare, and once in the water it was fine.
Overall we had a great time, and it was clean and well-maintained when we arrived.
