Situated close to the water's edge, the Leaning Birches cottage offers three bedrooms, one bathroom, and large screened-in original style Muskoka Room.
One bedroom has a queen size bed with warm pine ambiance and a large window. The second bedroom has a single over double bunk bed set with large window, and the third bedroom has a single over single bunk bed set.
The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower stall.
The kitchen area has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and large sink with lots of storage cupboards. The dining room table is just around the corner and has four chairs.
On this one floor bungalow style cottage, the family room vibe has a true old-fashioned feel featuring warm wooden details, vintage décor, and a simple, comfortable living space full of character. A large couch, coffee table, and a shelving unit with many games, puzzles, and books encourage old-school fun and feel-good memories just waiting to happen.
Facing the water is a 30-ft wide screened-in porch with panoramic views of the lake. The original drop-down shutters for the screens add an authentic aura to this inviting space. Chairs, end table, and a wide-open view to the dock and lake create a simple, relaxing spot that is full of old-fashioned charm. Perfect for coffee and sunrises, or afternoon drinks and sunsets..or both!
Outside, at the beginning of the dock, there is a shallow entryway to the water. Natural vegetation runs along the width of the property. The water at the end of the dock is approximately 3-3.5ft deep and has lovely views of this magnificent lake. A canoe and two one-person kayaks are available for additional adventure and can be found on the rack close to the dock area.
Gather around a crackling campfire ring, lean in for thrilling folklore tales while the waves sparkle in the night. Time to enjoy a blast-from-the past style vacation.
