This cosy cottage will provide you with a lovely outdoor space, total privacy, shoreline, dock, forest, walking trails, and fantastic sunsets! Inside the cottage is cozy and warm with all the comforts. The wraparound porch is a favourite place to relax without the bugs. Are you looking for a relaxing hide away experience? Bring your bedding, clothes and food, find the hammock, sit on the dock, or relax in the wraparound screened in porch...then plug into nature's rhythm. There are many places to get some peace and quiet and enjoy the true cottage experience. You have 5 acres of property to enjoy with your family and friends with no close neighbors or cottages. When you stand on the dock you can only see one dock and one abandoned cottage...that's it. It is truly serene, especially if you are a serious nature lover. The cottage is winterized and heated with a propane fireplace for that cozy feel. This family cottage sits close to the waters edge on Bennett Lake - river. This rustic rental is a clean furnished 80 year+ old cottage with a renovated 4 piece bathroom and fully renovated equipped eat in kitchen. There is hydro, hot water, fire pit, private waterfront, dock, large screened in rustic wraparound porch facing the water, great sunsets, good swimming and fishing right of the dock. You will be supplied with drinking water, canoe, pedal boat, hammock & BBQ with one tank of propane and enough firewood for a couple nights around the fire pit.
There is one main floor bedroom with a queen size bed. The other is an large finished attic space with a double bed and one single. We also have a sleep sofa in the living room, size queen.
We have decided to be an internet/cable free zone for many reasons. This cottage is a special place for families to reconnect...and is best enjoyed without the distractions. There is a phone at cottage. You can get a cell phone signal at end of driveway if needed. Cottagers from last year state they were getting reception at cottage.
Dock your boat right at the cottage (launch at end of road, 5 minutes $10). You also have the option of renting a small fishing boat & motor. Canoe and paddle boat included in rental.
Boat 12' with motor $50 per day plus gas - current price + delivery
Boat & oars without motor $25 per day
Bennett Lake is approximately 16 km long with winding shoreline, many islands and boat access to Fagan Lake. There are also beautiful serene shores to explore along the Fall River by Kayak, canoe or small boat.

We ask for a 50% deposit to hold your dates, and the other 50 %, + pet fee(s), $500 security/damage deposit, $120 cleaning fee due day before arrival - by e-transfer (Damage deposit returned 7 days after check out via e transfer after cottage assessed).
PLEASE NOTE: We love dogs too and believe they should also enjoy the cottage experience with their families. Unfortunately they can create and cause cleaning, repair issues that costs us time and money. There will be an extra charge (non-returnable $100 per dog per week) for pets on a case by case basis. Maximum 2 dogs.

| We spent 4 wonderful relaxing days at this quaint, comfortable, peaceful cottage . We boat toured two beautiful lakes, returning and enjoying a campfire, listening to the loons and ducks. If you want peace and serenity, this is for you. We will return often. We have also spent Thanksgiving and Christmas in this relaxing environment.

| This was our third year renting this cottage. My family absolutely LOVE this cottage and the owners. We're planning to rent again next summer as well. They're doing upgrades each year to make it that much better! Truly a little piece of heaven. Quiet, cozy and so relaxing! We highly recommend renting this cottage!

| I rented this cottage for a weekend with some friends and had a great time. The cottage includes everything you could need. This is a private location, absolutely perfect to get away from everything and relax - fish off the dock, lie in the hammock, or sit around the fire. The area is beautiful and I would recommend taking the canoe around the lake to see it all. Patty and Todd were awesome hosts. We would definitely come back.

| Recently spent a week at this wonderful place. My wife and I were looking for a cottage that would provide a good level of privacy along with access to the water in the form of canoeing and relaxing on a dock. This cottage provided that in spades. All of the amenities were provided and Patty and Todd were gracious and friendly hosts. The week spent there was private and very relaxing. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to my friends and family.

| This was our second year renting this cottage. We love it so much we are planning on making this our yearly family rental cottage. Patty & Todd are amazing hosts, they take such pride in their little piece of heaven they have on Bennet Lake. This cottage has everything you could possibly need or want for a nice summer get away.
