REVIEWS | Sarah | |
| We just returned from an amazing stay at Treetops. It was our first time in a modern new-build cottage, and it was a real treat. The views from the enormous windows are breathtaking. And despite having neighbours on either side, the woods provide a decent amount of quiet and privacy.
The kitchen is large and well-appointed. WIFI was excellent. Master bedroom king bed was extremely comfortable. Also loved the breeze provided by the silent ceiling fan.
Great selection of board games, mags and books. Also, a fantastic deck that hovers over the dock. Great perch to watch the kids from.
Only point of note is the drive in from Irondale Rd. Very hilly and bumpy, with a number of blind spots (although, there were signs to honk, as well as convex mirrors are in place). Tamara warned us that portions had been freshly gravelled and while it did pose some initial challenges, it was manageable once we navigating the trail once or twice.
We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.
