| An absolutely spectacular cottage rental. I did two weeks of self isolation and wished it was three weeks! Late May, so the weather was excellent. When the tide is high, the water is only a couple of meters from the deck, which sees sun all day. Quiet, secluded and a beautiful view from everywhere in the cottage. The cottage is quaint, clean, tidy and has tons of amenities (except washer/dryer). Outdoor shower option was a treat! Hi speed WiFi, was spotty at times but excellent otherwise. Owners were great to deal with and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

| We loved our time here! The cottage is cozy and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It's close to a few beaches and the beautiful town of Lunenburg. The sight seeing recommendations were very helpful and Joe was very quick in responding to questions. We hope to return again soon!

| It is indeed a slice of paradise! We stayed for a week at the end of our 3.5 week vacation, and this was by far the most peaceful and restful part of our visit to Atlantic Canada. From the spectacular sunrises and sunsets, the incredible starlit skies, to the calm, quiet, peaceful location, we managed to unwind and settle in easily. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing in the dory, the birds and bird calls - Great Herons, Gannets, Cormorants, even Loons! The cottage is clean, comfortable and feels like a family home. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Thank you for everything. We will be back!

| A fantastic place to stay. Very private without being remote. We were moments from wonderful beaches. My children (age 8, 10, and 12) loved exploring the rocks right off the deck. We swam right at the cottage and enjoyed wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Just as the website lists, everything we needed was there. The owners are very relaxed and have thought of everything. We will definitely be heading back to Five Winds.

| A little slice of paradise! If you are looking for water front, rustic charm and cozy atmosphere this is the place to be. The cottage was very clean and we lacked nothing. The décor was very well done and so cute and cozy. My husband and I could hardly wait to go back and booked a second week enjoying a little piece of paradise. It is a hard place to leave. The owners Joe and Steve are so thoughtful and considerate they even greeted us with a bottle of wine upon arrival. The book they leave with instructions and of sites to see were well thought out and not disappointing. I loved the outdoor shower and the bed is really as cozy as they say it is. The most enjoyable stay we had and the best part was sitting on the deck listening to the loons and watching the sun set. We loved it there and sure you will too.
