The cottage sits on over 250 feet of private waterfront and is located on Gloucester Pool, a deep and large lake that is next to Georgian Bay. It has a south western view with nightly sunsets. It has a large dock and the water is fresh, warm, and free of weeds, so its perfect for swimming, tubing and water ski'ing. The lake has access to Georgian Bay, which gives you a wide range of travel options by boat including the scenic Big Chute and venturing into Georgian Bay. Behind the cottage is crown land and there is another family cottage to one side and bush on the other so this cottage is fairly secluded. It is also at the end of a long cottage road and there is basically no traffic.

The cottage has a large bunkie that can easily sleep 4 with a very large attached separate deck. The main cottage has three bedrooms, one bathroom. Off of the main cottage there is a large multi-tiered deck with two sets of outside tables and chairs. Between the bunkie and the cottage is a very nice fire pit with a great view!

We are now accepting credit card payments through Stripe for a 8% surcharge.
3.5 HP boat also available to rent to cruise the severn!
A full video of the cottage can be viewed by pasting the following link into your browser. The rooms have been updated with paint and new fans etc but the layout remains the same.

We spent a week at this beautiful cottage in late September. It was a beautiful, peaceful location. The cottage was very clean, cozy, well set-up, and well stocked. The view and the natural light from all the windows was so relaxing. We were wishing we had rented earlier in warmer weather, to enjoy the water more, but there are so many spots to enjoy just being outdoors: the decks, the dock, and the huge fire pit. When the nights got cold, we even found electric heaters to keep us comfortable while sleeping.
Jacob and Sally were very welcoming, answered my questions by email very promptly, and were very easy to deal with in booking the rental.
We would recommend this cottage, for families, couples, or even a girls' weekend.

My wife, two friends, and I spent an excellent week at Wildflower. We had a fantastic time, and would highly recommend this location. There were only four of us, but I could easily see a group of ten being very comfortable there on a short or extended stay. Jack & Sally were very helpful with everything we needed, and have kept the cottage in great condition and well-stocked. Choose Wildflower for a great mix of being close to the Trent-Severn Waterway, while still being quiet and secluded. Big pluses? Fantastic fire pit, top quality BBQ, lots of outdoor seating, big windows, large dock. Enjoy!!!

The cottage, the view, and the environment was beautiful. On top of that, Jacob was very friendly, extremely helpful, and had a lot of insight on the area. My friends and I had an amazing time staying at this cottage and I would recommend it to anyone looking to rent.

Very clean, well-maintained, and the owner was very professional and accommodating and answered all of our inquiries promptly. Highly recommended and would definitely rent again if given the opportunity.

Wildflower Cottage is a very neat and tidy cottage, and well maintained. There is no clutter or personal belongings scattered about. The property is located on top of gorgeous rockscape on the waterfront of a clean and refreshing lake. If you have mobility issues, the landscape would be challenging for you as it's all rocks and steps. We had no issues and loved the view it provided.
It was very spacious for us all, and although we did not sleep in the bunkie it was a great place for the kids to relax. The mattresses were new and of great quality and provided a great nights sleep. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need.
Our hosts were available by texts for our questions and were friendly.
We would definitely consider renting here again and recommend it for friends and families.
