Welcome to Wildflower Cottage in Fall! A beautiful time of year when the lake has no traffic and you can sit out by the campfire without any bugs. The cottage keeps warm inside with a woodstove and an electric heater in the bunkie. Firewood is included. All fall bookings have linen provided in the rental fee, this includes bedding, towels (bath and beach).

The cottage is on 4 acres of private property and has over 250 feet of prime waterfront on Gloucester Pool, a deep and large lake that is part of the Trent-Severn waterway system. It has a south western view with nightly sunsets. It has a large dock and the water is fresh, and free of weeds, so its perfect for swimming, tubing and water ski'ing. The lake has access to Georgian Bay and Severn River via Port Severn and Big Chute, which gives you a wide range of travel options by boat. Behind the cottage is crown land and there is another family cottage to one side and bush on the other so this cottage is fairly secluded. It is also at the end of a long cottage road and there is little car traffic.

The cottage has a large bunkie that can easily sleep 3 with a very large attached separate deck. The main cottage has three bedrooms, one bathroom. Off of the main cottage there is a large multi-tiered deck with two sets of outside tables and chairs. Between the bunkie and the cottage is a very nice fire pit with a great view!

We had such a wonderful time at wildflower. Lovely cottage, gorgeous property. We stayed for the month of June with our son and dog. Jacob was very responsive and and helpful. Would love to come back again.

Very nice, comfortable cottage. Pictures are accurate. Beautiful views of the lake from the deck, master bedroom and living room/kitchen area. Sunsets are spectacular. Nice big dock and deck off of cottage with lots of room for sitting and lounging. Bunkie is big and roomy with a king and a single bed and and big deck with plenty of room for socializing. Nice trails in the forest behind the cottage. Fire pit was awesome. Some stairs down to the dock but not too many. Cottage was clean and cozy. Kitchen is a little tight for working in comfortably. Ok for one person, two people get in each other's way a bit and any more than that is chaos (fun chaos) but we made it work and it's not a deal breaker. Perhaps a fold down counter space beside the stove would be helpful? Bring a blender if you like making smoothies. Other than that, cottage had what we needed for cooking. Shower had good pressure and all the beds were very comfortable. Wifi was great. Jacob was super helpful and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a great time at this cottage and would definitely rebook.

We spent a week at this beautiful cottage in late September. It was a beautiful, peaceful location. The cottage was very clean, cozy, well set-up, and well stocked. The view and the natural light from all the windows was so relaxing. We were wishing we had rented earlier in warmer weather, to enjoy the water more, but there are so many spots to enjoy just being outdoors: the decks, the dock, and the huge fire pit. When the nights got cold, we even found electric heaters to keep us comfortable while sleeping.
Jacob and Sally were very welcoming, answered my questions by email very promptly, and were very easy to deal with in booking the rental.
We would recommend this cottage, for families, couples, or even a girls' weekend.

My wife, two friends, and I spent an excellent week at Wildflower. We had a fantastic time, and would highly recommend this location. There were only four of us, but I could easily see a group of ten being very comfortable there on a short or extended stay. Jack & Sally were very helpful with everything we needed, and have kept the cottage in great condition and well-stocked. Choose Wildflower for a great mix of being close to the Trent-Severn Waterway, while still being quiet and secluded. Big pluses? Fantastic fire pit, top quality BBQ, lots of outdoor seating, big windows, large dock. Enjoy!!!

The cottage, the view, and the environment was beautiful. On top of that, Jacob was very friendly, extremely helpful, and had a lot of insight on the area. My friends and I had an amazing time staying at this cottage and I would recommend it to anyone looking to rent.
