| We had a wonderful and relaxing week! The cottage sits on a lovely calming property and Kathryn is great at getting back on any communications immediately. You don't often get as large a property as this so there is lots of room to spread out, and the view from the deck was something we enjoyed at each mealtime. Kathryn provides a concise list of what is provided versus what you need to bring up. There is now a ladder at the end of the dock to make entry and exit from the lake easier. At most we had 6 motorized boats go by in a day so it is very peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped! Everything we needed was available. We heard an owl in the evenings, as well as the glorious loon calls, and saw an otter several times swim by to add to the enchantement. We enjoyed looking at the stars from the dock in the deep blackness of night. The fire pit is a generous size and it was no problem to buy some good dry wood close by in Arden. The sauna wood is provided by the hosts and two logs was enough to generate a good sauna session. We definitely recommend this cottage!

| Wow! What an absolutely beautiful spot! We just got back from a week here. We chose this place for our honeymoon(and later in the week our kids, almost 3 & 1.5 joined us) and this place did not disappoint. You couldn't ask for a better spot for a cottage. It's private, a beautiful lake, loads of trees, excellent swimming & fishing, and all around just a wonderful place to be. It was the relaxing vacation we very much needed. I could sit on the dock or deck all day with a cold one in my hand. The little beach was perfect for our kids. Everything inside & out was great and Kathryn was fantastic to deal with. We hope to return and could definitely see this being our yearly spot !

| This is an amazing place! We stayed 3 nights (2 adults with 12 yrs old twins boy/girl) and never regretted this sojourn. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, the outside is beautiful, quiet and inviting to either relax or play! My son caught a walleye from the dock and my daughter multiple small mouth rock bass! The private beach is perfect for little ones including big ones looking for frogs or clams. It was to warm to try the sauna but we do plan to return later in the fall. What we did miss was having a ladder at the end of the dock to ease are way out of the water. Also, there is no fire wood for campfire or the sauna...which isn't mentioned any where but these two little things are nothing compare to what is offered! The owners are honest and caring! So rent in peace and be prepare to be amaze!
