The Ocean Pearl has been described by its guests as a family paradise, picture-perfect, welcoming, the place to regenerate, well maintained, and immaculately clean. The cottage is located at the end of a private road, surrounded on 2 sides (north and south) with trees. The ocean is on the west side (just down a few steps) and Miminegash Pond is on the east. Sunsets over the ocean are spectacular and constantly changing. The sunrise over the pond is breathtaking. The owners have put much care into decorating the cottage as a cottage should be, quaint, with amazing rustic touches. Everything is comfortable, and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to make a simple or a gourmet meal. The Housekeeper/ Caretaker's husband is a fisherman and when in season brings in Lobster or scallops that you can get fresh from boat to door. Fresh white fish and shell fish can be purchased from the Fish Truck that parks in Alberton on Thursday or usually, in O'Leary on Friday. (check days) You simply can not pass up all of these fresh seafood experiences. To be able to cook and eat them at the cottage is special.
Each bedroom has ample bedding and the bathrooms are well supplied with towels, soap and amenities in case you forgot something.
There are laundry facilities including detergent.
When returning from the beach, one can take a quick wash in the outdoor shower.
Little children are welcomed by a large sand box and play structure which can be seen from the living and dining room windows.
As the cottage is off the main road, there are very few local people on the beach. People from the 7 other cottages might have guests staying but the cottages are spread out over a long beach.
Nowhere on the island could you find such a perfect place to spend a week or 2 of your vacation knowing that when you return home, you will be refreshed and totally relaxed and happy that you found The Ocean Pearl.

| We had a fantastic time at the Ocean Pearl! The cottage is absolutely lovely and had everything we were looking for! We slept like logs in the comfy beds with the sound of ocean waves and wind rustling in the trees. It has been many decades since we've seen such density of stars in the night sky - quite a show combined with the sunsets! My husband spent his days reading in the screen room, while my daughter and I walked the beach searching for glass, shells, and nifty rocks. Our little guy was thrilled with the play set and quickly learned to climb the wall. Good fun for a little one!

| We were so hyped to visit PEI this summer and the Ocean Pearl made our stay memorable!
The renovations done by the new owners were awesome. The decor was so modern, relaxing and beautiful!
Everything we needed was at our fingertips.
The guide that Molly left for us was super useful and detailed.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the beach. It felt almost private. I think we saw less than 10 people walking on it in the 5 days we were there.
We even saw a bald eagle in the trees just behind the cottage.
My daughters had a blast collecting seashells, rocks and sea glass.
I totally recommend this place!

| When we arrived at the destination, my family and I knew the Ocean Pearl was going to be a special place. The location is so private; it is a wonderful home away from home. We walked into the house and were so impressed. It felt like we walked into a home in a home and decor magazine! The house was so clean and warm and inviting. Attention to detail was so evident. One of the best part of our stay was the beautiful beach, just steps away from the cottage. We enjoyed our daily walks along the beach, the calm and clear ocean, and the gorgeous sunsets. Our vacation out east included PEI and Nova Scotia but my favourite part of the trip was PEI and our stay at The Ocean Pearl.

| We loved absolutely everything about this property and its location. Inviting, comfortable and impeccably clean. Beautiful sunrises and even more amazing sunsets by the firepit. Spent evenings in the screened in porch just enjoying the great weather and digesting all of the freshly caught lobster we bought at the harbour.

| As this was our second 2-week stay at Seawatch Cottage (1st stay in Sept. 2021), we want to add to our previous review by thanking the owners, the managers and the caretakers for all that they do to make Seawatch such a beautiful and perfect home away from home. We have nothing but positive comments and wonderful memories of our time at Seawatch and we would love to spend more time here. So much so that we wished that we could stay longer and we have already booked to return. It is very rare for us to not be excited to get home and it was the case when we stay at Seawatch. As we said goodbye, we cherished our daily beach walks, chats with locals, relaxing days at the cottage, attending local music festival events and runs on the Confederation Trail. We absolutely love Seawatch and we are already dreaming about our next stay. Thank you again, Kimberley & David, Kanata, Ont.
