This one of a kind three bedroom cottage is situated right on Hamilton Beach in Charlo N.B., a 10 minute drive from Dalhousie. The cottage features an amazing outdoor space that has a hot tub, a large covered front deck with sliding deck chairs and a propane firepit, leading down to a large cement patio with patio furniture and then a few steps away is a firepit with 5 Adirondack chairs, then a few more steps and you are on the beach. The cottage is right on Hamilton beach, with beautiful views of Chaleur Bay, Heron Island, Gaspe and Mt. Carlton. The water is typically very warm and perfect for swimming as we are on a shallow part of the bay. There is a 2 person kayak and a canoe to go fishing, both come free with the rental. There is a lot of birds in the area and you can see Bald Eagles, Osprey, ducks, Geese, Gannets, hummingbirds and songbirds right from the deck. There are 3 separate bedrooms, one is a large master suite with a separate ensuite bathroom and soaking tub. There is also a convertible sofa in the living room, and a single above a double in one of the bedrooms, the cottage sleeps up to 9 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a peninsula and bar stool seating. There is a large open concept kitchen/ living area, with seating for 12 people and a large custom dining table. There are two full bathrooms each with a large walk in shower.
There is also an outdoor kitchen area with a BBQ, sink and fridge and an outdoor shower area.
The cottage has a heat pump for heat and air conditioning and it also has back up electric heat. There are board games and books for rainy day activities. There is also a horseshoe pit and bocce to play outside games.
You can dig clams and fish for striped bass right in front of the cottage. Rods and digging tools provided.
The cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need in the kitchen as well as all bedding and towels.
For larger groups or for a private area for family or friends you can also rent our 26 foot trailer on a lot behind the cottage, it is a one bedroom that has a large wardrobe area, a desk and a queen bed. The dinette and couch both fold down to sleep up to 6. It has water, heat, power, wifi, and sewer hook up. It has a fridge, microwave, oven, stove, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, etc. and a full bathroom with a large shower. The trailer rents for $600 a week.

| Everything was wonderful! The view spectacular. Watched a Heron stroll the water at dusk trolling for it's supper never felt more at peace. The sky always changing and rainbows too! Clam digging down the beach. Lovely escape! Will be going next summer bringing grandchildren!

| Your cottage is wonderful. You have it decorated so nicely, the view is amazing. It is very clean and equipped with everything anyone could need. This past week has been so peaceful and your neighbours are very kind. Thank you for allowing us to bring our dog, which has enabled us to vacation together as a family for the first time in years. (Nobody had to stay home to babysit her.) Your cozy cottage is perfect.

| We generally visit the area overnight annually and decided to stay longer this year (5 nights) - we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Wonderful neighbours, very clean cottage with all you could need to prepare & cook meals but the best part is the roofed deck for sitting and watching the changing water and mountain views - especially at night! To walk out your front door and be almost directly on the beach is pretty great. We will be back!

| We stayed at this cottage last year,just a real little paradise! The beach was nice,we couldnt believe it, we picked and ate some clams right in front of our cabin,and bought the best lobsters just down the road.
The cabin was extremely clean,one of the neighbor even took us for a boat ride!
we're going back this coming summer
