Huron Hideaway, located on Bruce Beach, Lake Huron, now booking for Summer 2025

Huron Hideaway is located just steps away from the beautiful sandy beach of Lake Huron, outside the town of Kincardine, Ontario. Lovely five bedroom, 1900 square foot cottage with a unique combination of both private setting and within 500 feet proximity to Bruce Beach. A large yard to accommodate children and adults alike with a wrap around deck for plenty of space to BBQ and lounge. The main living area of the cottage is complimented by cathedral ceilings. Enjoy cable television, a wood stove to take the chill off a cool spring morning or fall evening. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, and dishwasher. There is plenty of counter and cupboard space for storage. The dining area is a unique feature of the cottage with large windows on three walls providing the view to the great outdoors to compliment your meal. The table seats six comfortably. The lower level of the cottage provides an added seating area with couch, table and chairs. A great place to relax and unwind to enjoy a good book, movie or games night. Also on the lower level is an additional bedroom with twin beds. Three of the five bedrooms are located on the second storey each featuring cathedral ceilings. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and floor to ceiling window for natural light. The second bedroom has a double bed, while the third bedroom offers bunk beds. The main floor bedroom has a queen size bed with laundry facilities. Bathroom is located on the main floor with a tub/shower combination and another additional bathroom with shower only on the lower level. Outside there is a large, private lot so you can enjoy the peace and quiet. In such a popular tourist area, this privacy is a luxury and guests can make the most of it by sunbathing on the large deck complete with loungers. Six Muskoka chairs are also available and a lower level patio complete with gas fire pit to enjoy your evenings under the stars. A path right off the front of the deck leads to the sandy shores of Bruce Beach. The path is about 500 feet and a 2 minute walk along a private laneway from the cottage to the beach. Bruce Beach has a shallow entry and is a beautiful sandy beach. It is about 2 miles for nice long walks along the beach. When returning to the cottage after a day at the beach we have an outdoor shower for guests to use for sandy feet! Also guests have access to tennis courts, a basketball court, baseball field and playgrounds for the children in your party. This is a great place for the family to enjoy the outdoors when they aren't enjoying the beach. The cottage is located only 6km from the town of Kincardine with it's historic downtown, restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. A very popular weekly event in the summer is the Pipe Band Parade held each Saturday night, in which bagpipers parade through the downtown of Kincardine before putting on a free concert at Victoria Park. With this cottage you'll be close to the beach and close to areas/activities for your whole family to enjoy.
