Cozy two bedroom cottage located on Grippen Lake near Lyndhurst, Ontario, just 40 minutes from Kingston. Located on the water, this large grassy treed in lot is just a stones throw to the water's edge. Waterfront is shallow and sandy bottom. Enjoy kayaking and paddleboating out to "Turtle Rock" which is situated out in front of the cottage. Excellent fishing!

The cottages faces south and allows for early morning sunshine and some great sunrises. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck while watching the lake come to life. Rental includes use of kayaks, rowboat, paddleboat and canoe. Grippen Lake is a private lake with no public access. Just a short drive to enjoy a hike up Rock Dunder, or check out Wendy's Country Market and sample some local grown produce. Or just hang out at the cottage and let the cares and concerns of the world drift away....

Get ready to rest, relax and create some great family memories.

The cottage is not available for winter rentals.

Any bookings made prior to June 1, 2017 will receive a $50.00 discount. We appreciate weekly rentals in the summer months (July and August) but we do allow some flexibility.

We had an amazing time at Grippen Lake cottage. It was a beautiful, quaint little cottage with everything we could need for our stay. We loved playing games on the deck in the evening, having drinks by the fire and we absolutely loved using the kayaks, canoes and paddle boats during the day. The lake is quite small and private so we were able to explore most of it on the kayaks. We also really enjoyed swimming near turtle Rock. The neighbors were very kind and welcoming and even gave us some spots on the lake to go too for nice sandy swimming. Overall we had an awesome time, it was amazing to get away, watch the sunset and listen to the loons in the evenings. Thanks for an amazing time.

We had an awesome week here as a family. One of the favorites was the early morning coffees on the dock watching the sunrise. We really enjoyed the kayaks and used them daily. Beautiful and quiet lake. Looking forward to coming back again.
