Three bedroom cottage with private beach on beautiful lake Kashwakamak. Southern exposure for days filled with fun in the sun. Camp Foster has been a family cottage and summer retreat for over 30 years. A perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of society and enjoy the beauty of nature. This charming cottage is a premier water front property, located along the main channel of the Mississippi River at the west end of Lake Kashwakamak. This 900 sq ft, three bedroom, one bath cottage was built in 1963 and sits on a half acre lot. Enjoy your own private beach with southern exposure for days filled with fun in the sun alongside family and friends. A sand and rock beach with two docks give you access to swimming, snorkeling and fishing in some of the cleanest and clearest water that Ontario has to offer. For those wishing to experience the lake without getting wet, take to the water in a canoe or kayak and unwind while being surrounded by peace and quiet. The beach is gradually slopped with a sand and rock bottom. The water depth at the end of the dock is around eight feet, so it is perfect for swimming and water sports. Illuminate the beach at night with a fire while listening to the loons call in the background. The fishing is great right off the dock, but there is a canoe and (2) kayaks available as well. If you choose to bring your own motor boat, there are ties on the docks to park and a free public boat launch is only a 10 minute drive down the road. Whether you want to fish, enjoy the sun or simply add a bit of serenity to your life, this cottage has a little something for everyone. Perfect for a romantic getaway, this cottage is also the ideal place to create memories with the family or even a group of friends. This cozy cottage is like a home away from home, boasting its own wood stove for the chilly nights and an outdoor fire pit for the warm summer nights.

There is a three piece bathroom with standing shower, toilet and pedestal sink/vanity mirror. There is Starlink internet available and the living area is equipped with a television, DvD player, satellite and a wood stove which helps create the perfect ambiance for those chilly nights.
The kitchen includes an oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. There is one large fridge to provide more than enough space for groceries. Dishes and cutlery are also provided. The cottage has a 180 degree view of the lake, through many large windows. Whether you are enjoying a morning coffee sitting down by the lake or on the patio deck barbecuing, eating dinner with your family and friends.. you will find no better view.

| We spent a week at Camp Foster and had a great time. The beach area and walk into the water were great for the dogs and for us to hang out with our feet in the water when we didn't want to swim. There were no weeds and you could jump right off the dock which we loved. Everything we needed was in the cottage and check in/out was very easy. The owner was very quick to get back to us on any questions. We will definitely recommend this cottage.

| My sister and I just returned from a week at Camp Foster and we had a lovely time. The location is excellent with a nice beach which makes it easy to access swimming and kayaking and a large dock as well. The water is clean and the lake has an interesting shoreline with islands to explore. I even had an otter alongside my kayak one day. A pair of loons visited quite often and we heard their calls throughout the day and evening. The cottage has lots of room and a well equipped kitchen. Lots of cottage charm and importantly comfortable beds. We enjoyed amazing sunsets and loved the waterside fire pit. We will be back to Camp Foster.

| Had an amazing time with my now fiancé and 2 dogs!, view was spectacular throughout the day, and excellent star gazing at night. Cottage was very quaint and romantic, great for families as well. Perfect deck for all your meals with views of the lake. Also caught a few decent sized bass off the dock, and great fishing on the lake. Highly recommend spending a week at this gem

| Our family of 4 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog, enjoyed a wonderful week at Daniel's cottage. It was perfect for our needs, with a well supplied kitchen, TV entertainment games & DVDs, water toys, etc. The waterfront is the crowning jewel of this property, with a sand beach for the little ones to play, lovely water entrance, & a huge dock where we spent most of our days watching the kids have a blast ! It was great booking with Daniel, & he always got right back to me to answer any questions . We now hope to return to this awesome oasis every summer !

| We spent seven days enjoying this cottage. Our group was two families with four adults and four kids (ages 4-7), and one small dog.
Our kids were able to all share one bedroom with a couple kid sized cots on the floor. Adults were comfortable in the other two rooms.
Kitchen was tight but met our needs completely with all the pots, pans, utensils a person could need. The extra fridge in the screened porch was a big plus.
There was enough seating for all of us to enjoy some TV time or a movie. The selection of DVDs was very large.
Indoor dining space was a little tighter but fortunately our weather was flawless and we ate on the patio all week.
There is a water cooler with a large supply of extra bottles which made cooking and drinking very easy.
Swimming was great. The water was clean and clear. The little kids enjoyed the sandy entry and shallow area and the bigger kids spent the week jumping off the end of the dock where the depth was about 7-8 feet.
We caught about a dozen fish during the week just casting off the end of the dock. No keepers but the kids were thrilled.
The firepit area is large and beautifully located. And the whole waterfront is a great mix of sun and shade to suit what you're in the mood for.
The front of the cottage has a small grassy area that accommodated outdoor games very well.
All our interactions with the host were pleasant and well received. Questions were answered quickly before our arrival and during our stay.
