The Sandpiper Cottage is located on a quiet, mature, well maintained street. We have completed a few additional renovations to the cottage including elevating it 6 feet up with front & side back porch entrance and a large back deck attached to enclosed sun room, with patio table & chairs for lounging, viewing a beautiful panoramic west sunset scene overlooking the channel. We have a shared double driveway with single lane parking available in front of the carport for your car or recreational vehicle or trailer. Pictures shown here was taken with a narrow lens, cottage appears larger than described. Our cottage includes: 3 bedrooms (2 new double beds and 1 bunk bed; double bottom, single top), 3 piece bath, 60"TV, Blue Ray player, Roku with various channels & Netflix (free of charge), high speed internet & WiFi, air conditioner, washer/ dryer, fridge, convection oven, dishwasher, microwave & all kitchen amenities, screened in sun porch at the back viewing BBQ, fire pit and canal.
The back yard has direct access to the boat channel, so you can enjoy a canoe, kayak, jet ski, or paddle boat ride from the back of the cottage leading out to the bay. If you are bringing your boat, you can launch at the nearby marina and fish for perch, pike, small mouth and large mouth bass; then return to our dock and park at the back of the cottage. Swim at the beach, just a few minutes' walk from the cottage. Enjoy the ice cream parlour down the street! We would love to have you as our guests!
Long Point is known for its Bird Observatory whereby it attracts a lot of bird watching enthusiasts and is protected by the UNESCO biosphere reserve. Campers and visitors come from all over to enjoy Long Point Provincial Park. Boaters, sport-fishermen, and duck hunters flock to the area for recreational pursuits on Long Point Bay, Lake Erie. It is just a short drive through the causeway to a small town of Port Rowan where you will find farmer's fresh markets, boutiques, grocery store, LCBO, and restaurants.

| My family and I absolutely adore this cottage. Such a great family atmosphere and so much fun things to do. My husband and I own a boat so it's so convenient to launch the boat upon arrival and leave it in water tied to the channel dock for the 7 days. We always make sure we hit up pottahawk beach in our boat for a day of swimming in the beautiful cove. Highly recommend staying here. Even when it was raining we had the opportunity to sit in the sunroom and listen to the storm.

| Just returned from a week at the sandpiper. Great location with less then a 5 min walk to the beach. The canal lot allowed the kids to fish right in the yard, and we were able to paddle board and canoe out into the bay. The cottage had all the amenities you could want.

| This our second time here. The cottage is so beautiful clean and cozy. The back yard is right on the channel .. kids loved fishing off the dock and a 5 min walk to the beach. We will definitely be returning . Thank you so much for helping us making new memories !

| Enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper. The cottage is clean, cozy and comfortable. It is located on a quiet street and access to the beach is a short walk. Shops at the end of the street offer great food including ice cream and perch.
