Franz took apart an 1800s century log cabin from Dunganan, a small town 20 km away after a horrible fire claim their first Log Cabin. At the age of 65, he then put it back together like a puzzle where it stands today. The tags marking the logs can still be seen today.
The 1800th century log cabin is situated in a secluded, wooded property with 280 ft of lake frontage over looking Lake Huron.
If you are looking for a family retreat or a friends getaway, that is truly a retreat from the modern life, replacing computers and TVs with the beach, walks and fire pits, you have found your place!
The cabin includes a private fire pit area with a beautiful view of Lake Huron, a private beach, and private bush trails to explore.
It's located within a five minute drive of the historical town of Goderich; well know for it's breathtakingly beautiful harbour and historical downtown square. To sum it up, a very peaceful retreat.
