STAR Licensed #2023 - 02 for Billings Township. North Channel waterfront location. Two minutes away from Bridal Veil Falls and the village of Kagawong. Spend a relaxing week or two experiencing lazy summer days in a private waterfront setting. Great swimming, fishing, biking, hiking, and much more on Manitoulin Island. 575 feet shoreline frontage, garden, and trails to enjoy with a tea or coffee. Lovely bird-watching opportunities and just chilling out. Our cottage has been newly decorated with 12-foot ceilings on the main floor with 900 Sqft of living space, including an open concept kitchen, living room, pantry, and laundry room. The living area has installed a new propane fireplace to offer rentals for the late fall and winter seasons. There is a smart tv and wi-fi as well in the sitting area. The second floor has a large bedroom, sitting area, and bathroom with a cedar plank ceiling. A newly installed Hi-Lo air conditioner and heat pump have been added to offer additional comfort in any season. Great views from the bedroom of the shoreline and forest. We offer opportunities to link packages with the island such as Great Lakes and North Channel dinner cruises. We can get you in contact with bike and boat rentals. | Oh my goodness, let me just start with "WOW" This beautiful cottage exceeds our expectations far beyond anything we could have imagined. Everything we could have possibly needed or asked for is here. This is our 3rd visit the island and by far, the nicest place we have been to. Being so close to Kagawong for Bridal Veil falls, Chocolate store, Old fashion candy store, nice sandy beach, and amazing Wed farmer's market. Enjoyed the scenery and wildlife and to ride our bikes on quiet roads stress free was a bonus. Thank-you so much Lee and Jon for creating such a welcoming place to stay.

| Jonathan & Lee Bird have created a beautiful, relaxing natural retreat.
The house has a modern, very clean, open concept main level..with excellent garden & water views.
The second level is a spacious master bedroom retreat with 2 comfortable queen beds, & ensuite bathroom.
The grounds are a impressive balance of landscaped flowerbeds..and the natural environment.
Both Jon and Lee are the best hosts..totally considerate, kind, helpful people.
My partner and I are quite careful where we stay:
After visiting the Nuthatch last summer 2017, and meeting Lee & Jonathan..we immediately booked for 10 days for July 2018.
Our vacation at the Nuthatch is now a very good memory...
