| This is the place to stay for your summer vacation. The cottage is absolutely lovely, tastefully decorated and stocked to the rafters with everything and anything you may have forgotten to bring. Our seven days were spent walking the beach in search of beach treasure, swimming and feasting on the deck overlooking the ocean. Every night was topped off by a glorious sunset, followed by a campfire. This was the perfect setting for our quiet, serene vacation. If you are looking for a magical place to recharge your batteries and enjoy a peaceful relaxing holiday away from all of the touristy hustle and bustle, this is it! I loved it so much, I am already planning on returning next year!

| Wanted to sincerely thank our hosts for our wonderful week at Family Tides Summer Home! WOW! From our initial arrival to the date of our departure our family trip to PEI could not have been any better. The cottage itself was clean and well organized. Everything necessary for the week there was thought about in advance - towels, linens, toys, cleaning supplies and most importantly coffee! The arrangement of decor is very tasteful and rustic - really embraced the East Coast style. The location of the cottage was incredible! There wasn't a day we didn't make a trip down to the beach searching for shells, rocks and sea glass. Kids loved it! Great lawn and fire pit was another bonus, many an evening spend playing on the grass until the late hours then sitting by the fire to enjoy some s'mores. I think we met everyone in Ebbsfleet our week there and it felt like we'd known everyone for years. Talk about hospitality! Our neighbours for the week were fantastic ambassadors for PEI - they were welcoming and helped us with all our questions (where to go/what to do/etc.). Truly a week that our family will never forget. We are already thinking about our next trip to the island. Thank you to Family Tides Summer Home - we felt like family for the time spent on your beautiful island. You really know how to make a vacation an experience, thanks for having us!

| This is a beautifully furnished and situated cottage with comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, lovely lawn, garden and deck to watch the water and sunsets from! Lots of toys and games for the kids plus satellite TV and internet.
At a very quiet location right on the beach and a five minute walk to a sandy swimming area with clear water and no jellyfish!
Just a 30 minute walk along the beach (at low tide) or a 2km bike ride to a little fishing village and an hour by car to Summerside. Close to pretty towns like Tignish and the Confederation Trail.
We had a fabulous holiday in this lovely spot. Truly our hosts thought of everything!

Owner response: I am so thrilled you and your family had fun while staying at our summer home. This little place holds a special place in my heart as I grew up here and spent hours playing and walking the beach below this home. Making memories is what family vacation is all about and I'm glad the little touches we have left for our guests helped you make some too! | |

| Wonderful cottage, beautiful location. The owners made sure we had everything needed for a great vacation, from firewood & smore ingredients, to beach shoes, to games and crafts. We enjoyed exploring the area (lighthouses, museums, restaurants, Confederation Trail), relaxing on the deck, playing washer toss and volleyball in the yard, walks on the beach collecting sea glass, chatting with friendly locals. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
