Everything you want in a vacation is right here! This immaculate cottage on Papineau Lake is known for it's amazing beaches and crystal clear water. In summertime you can enjoy the beautiful sandy beach, only a few steps away from the backdoor with a sand bottom swimming area with gradual drop off, great for adults and little ones. Spring you can enjoy four-wheeling or taking your bikes out on a ride. Fall you can enjoy the colours or take trips to nearby Algonquin Park. For the winter there is snowmobiling or snowshoeing across the lake or down the trails. Year-round gorgeous sunrises, guaranteed tranquility, relaxation and quality family time.
This cottage is suitable for 1-2 families as there is plenty of room for sleeping. The cottage has 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds and 1 with 2 sets of bunk beds), a 3pc spa like bathroom. The open concept living room with large windows has great views of the lake. The fully equipped kitchen has a large island and eating area with table and 6 chairs.There is a large deck with patio furniture and Gas BBQ.

Things to do:

Perfect for swimming and water sports ( 2 x kayaks, 1 double kayak, 2 stand up paddle boards and a paddle boat available at the cottage. There is a public boat launch approximately 2.5kms from the cottage if you have your own boat. There are plenty of hiking trails and even cliff jumping across the lake.

Golf courses are located in Bancroft and Killaloe. Shopping in Bancroft and Barry's Bay less than 30 minutes away.

Was the first vacation in 23 years with my children and having them along with their spouses and my 4 grandchildren was the Best vacation I've ever had. Had everything we needed and didn't have to go anywhere except a couple of trips for wood. Owner was very easy to talk to in regards to any questions and it had everything for children to stay busy as well. Very well taken care of with cleanliness and supplies as well. Very well organized. Hope to return next year.

The cottage beautiful, very clean and has everything you need. Excellent beach. We were very happy with our stay. Tom was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries. Make sure you go see Egan chutes. It's fantastic!

We've been coming to the cottage for three years. The cottage is always immaculate. The kitchen is well equipped and the bunk-bed set up is wonderful for children. Tom has been wonderful to work with and we love coming back year after year. I highly recommend!!

This cottage is perfect for our young family. All of the comforts of home, with a beautiful private beach and shallow lake. The addition of kid's kayaks and private playground and soccer field was a bonus.

This is a wonderful cottage. Great design and beautifully decorated. Everything you need is not only provided but of the highest quality. The view from the cottage is spectacular with gorgeous morning sunrises. Access to the sand beach and shallow lake can't be beaten, it's right outside the door. If you have little ones they will love playing in the sandy bottom lake that doesn't get deep until half way across the lake. Of course the adults loved it too! You can just sit down in the water or Adirondack chairs and watch the kids play for hours. We also enjoyed the comfy chairs and love seat on the large deck and in the evening watching the fire in the pit with the lake behind it. What a lovely setting. I can't say enough good things about this cottage. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papineau Dream Lake cottage and talked about how much we would like to come back.
