Welcome to Sunshine Cottage-By-the-Beach! Amazing location, our Guests love this spot! Many of our guests are repeat visitors! Just a 2 minute walk to the Main Beach and Mackies!!!

**Our cottage is a perfect getaway for mature adults and couples who want to relax**

Location, Location, Location!
Leave the car parked and walk to everything. Spend your mornings at the beach, your afternoons browsing local shops and cafés, and your evenings watching Port Stanley's famous sunsets over the water.

***This is a smoke free and pet free cottage***
Please bring your own towels, pillows, bedding and linens. (can be provided at extra cost).

The Main bedroom has a new Queen bed, the second bedroom has a new Queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 new twin beds, comfortably sleeping 2 adults with 2 kids or 2 couples.

Smart TV with Unlimited, High-Speed WiFi

You can Sign-In to your own Netflix account to watch, just as you would at home. Prime Video is available to watch on the TV or to stream on your devices.

You can also do work from the cottage and log in through your own Laptop computer. The internet log in and password will be given to you when we meet you at Check-In.

On-site Parking for 2 vehicles only! Guest's vehicles are welcome to park in the Municipal Parking Lot, at end of street. Free Parking on Lotus Lane after 5pm!

Cottage is excellent, highly recommend! Super close to beach, lovely well maintained and exceptionally clean cottage. Host is lovely. We traveled with my in laws (seniors) and a our 5 year old and the cottage met everyone's needs. Beds are comfortable and the patios are well taken care of. Amazing price!

We had a wonderful week at this Cottage.

The cottage is well maintained and the location is perfect. Walking distance to everything.

The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything ie. frying pans, utensils etc. that you would need.

We were able to view the cottage before we made the reservation. Lauire was very accommodating and answered all of our questions.

Even though Pierside Bar is one street away it isn't overly loud. It was nice to sit outside on the deck and/or picnic table and listen to the music.

The newly renovated bathroom is wonderful and includes a new glass walk-in shower, vanity, toilet and floor.

We are returning again this Labor Day for a girls extended long weekend. We have had been going to Port Stanley for girls' weekend for many years and last year (2024) was our first stay at this cottage and we are overly excited to spend many more Labor Day weekends at this cottage in the future.

This rental was very satisfying. The cottage is very clean which starts things off right. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the neighborhood quiet during the week and lively on the weekend, and a large private back deck to relax on. The location is ideal! Laurie was a is attentive host. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us.

My family and I have been renting from Laurie and Rich for the past 4 years. We have always stayed 2 weeks at a time and have even booked for 2022. They have always been great to deal with and respond very quickly.

One of the main reasons we started renting from Laurie & Rich was because my family was needing an allergy free, pet free and extremely clean cottage to rent which also has 3 bedrooms. Some of my family members have various allergies, so these were key factors for renting a cottage. The cottage has a very private back area which is great, but the big bonus is the proximity to the beach. We are looking forward to the newly renovated bathroom next year. We would highly recommend renting from Laurie and Rich.

The perfect getaway, beautifully renovated cottage that is very close to the beach, restaurants, and pubs. We were 2 adults, a 13 yr old and twin 9 yr olds and had plenty of space. We visited parks and walked trails that were within 20 min of Port Stanley. You can easily walk into town from this cottage (we were unable to due to the lift bridge under construction)
Laurie and Richard were gracious hosts. They checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. They shared places to visit and their favourite restaurants which were all fantastic recommendations.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rent Bess in Port again.
