Relax and enjoy peace and tranquility at Kanu Cottage. Located on Palmerston Lake, this comfortable and cozy cottage features an open-concept living/ kitchen/dining area, 3 bedrooms, a screened-in porch and lakeside deck. Kanu Cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing cottage vacation.

Public-use shallow-entry beach located just 200m down the road - a perfect place for the littlest ones to enjoy water play. This area includes an open grassy area, picnic table, BBQ stands, and dock.
In inclement weather, relax indoors - Kanu Cottage is equipped with a variety of puzzles, games, books, magazines and movies for you to enjoy.

1h30 minutes from Ottawa or Kingston, 2 hours from Peterborough, or 3 hours from Toronto. Amenities in nearby Plevna include grocery store, restaurant, bakery, and hardware store. Other nearby shopping in Sharbot Lake and Northbrook include pharmacy, farmers market, LCBO, etc. The adjacent Palmerston-Canonto Conservation Area provides opportunities for hiking. | Just stayed for a week at Kanu cottage. This is a lovely, traditional cottage on a very quiet and peaceful lake. Five of us stayed there very comfortably. Town of Plevna has gas, groceries, LCBO and a neat little bakery not far away. Lots of water toys and a big lakefront dock to lounge on. Amanda was very responsive and helpful throughout and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this cottage for a nice, quiet family or friend group getaway.
