Cozy 3 bedroom (plus newly renovated bunny) cottage on a private 1 acre lot! Paved road to our driveway and 2 minutes to miles of paved walking/biking nature trails. Catch your fish limit everyday on the pristine waters of Remi Lake home of the Rene Brunelle Provincial Park. You will be 45 minutes to the Polar Bear Habitat and PolarBear Express train in Cochrane, your destination to the historical James Bay coast. ATV trails everywhere within Crown land. Mid summer daylight hours: 5am to 10pm followed by total darkness so you will be able to discover the millions of stars in the sky while sitting by the fire and listening to the loons and the sounds of nature. This is the spot to unwind and recharge your batteries!
Remi Lake is serviced by a Bell cellular tower with reliable coverage throughout the area.

Note: Once off Provincial highway 11 at the Moonbeam spaceship (yes spaceship) you will drive approximately 5 km past the Twin Lake camping and take the first right which is now highway 581. Our cottage is located approx 4 km from this turnoff. It is lot # 121. Please do not enter the address in your gps as it will indicate that our cottage is at Twin Lake camping!! Not sure why this happens

Rotem

The good: is as advertised. Kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped, and everything works properly. The area is really quiet and lovely, and there are great trails for hiking/running/biking all around. Cozy space and the fireplace works well. Renee was very responsive and made us feel comfortable.

The bad: the oven did not work and the toilet is an outhouse. Renee advised us of this information ahead of time and neither was an issue, but an indoor toilet and a working stove would make this place even better.

The ugly: people in the area not wearing masks during a pandemic.
