Just down the road is a boat launch and beach area where seals and eagles hang out. The cottage is walking/biking distance to a lobster pound, restaurants and the best ice cream shop for miles! Travel 8 minutes to Pugwash for groceries, the farmer's market, bakeries, etc.

Hello Arlene, we are so pleased that you and your family liked the cottage and we would be happy to have you back!

We had a great stay at the Blue Cottage! The property was well maintained and the view was spectacular. Watching the tide, many different birds and a few seals entertained us! Very peaceful and quiet:)
The cottage was fully equipped with all kitchen items and very trendy with IKEA products! I really enjoyed all the movies, games and comfortable living room space. We also enjoyed the bunkhouse space, where the kids could have a little down time. The spacious deck facing the water was my morning wake routine ...coffee and nature...it was beautiful. We also enjoyed the fire pit and visiting Pugwash market( highly recommend) , we also enjoyed the local seafood...scallops and mussels were so yummy! This cottage has a very homey feel and we will definitely rent again! Thank you so much for thinking of everything!

Owner response:
Thanks for the lovely review, Sara! We are very pleased that you had a great long weekend at the cottage. We would be happy to see you again soon.

the cottage is immaculate, very clean & spacious. You can tell that it dates back but the renovations done the this unit are very well done. Beautiful view on the river . PLease go to the provincial park beyond Pugwash, beautiful and clean. Kids found starfish and hermit crabs. WIFI was the only thing that would require attention as it is quite slow. Other than that, this is a place we will go again. good job to owners as this was exactly what was advertised.

Owner response:
Thanks Alain, I'm glad that you enjoyed the local parks and found the cottage to be what you needed. We would LOVE to provide faster internet and continue to look for vendors who can provide better service to the area. Thank you for the feedback.

Very clean, cozy, comfortable cottage! Perfect for rest and rejuvenation; loved sitting at the waterfront, soaking in the sunrise and sunset. Enjoyed exploring the area, especially discovering about the Pugwash conference and the Peace Hall concert! The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and utensils; the owners provided all the information needed - very organized.
