Hi Dora, we are so happy that you enjoyed the cottage and all the attention to detail we tried to incorporate. We are excited to have you stay with us again in 2019. See you next year!

This cottage was perfect for our family getaway. There was plenty of room for everyone and the bunky was especially cozy with a very nice view of the river. There is plenty to do nearby but our favourite thing was to stay at the cottage and have a campfire. I loved the attention to detail - everything you could possibly need is provided. The owners are very nice to deal with. Rebekah answered my inquiries promptly, sent information on area activities and was in touch with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you, Rebekah!

Thank you, Irene. We are glad it worked out for you to find the getaway location and timing you wanted. We love knowing that our cottages are being used for quality family time. Please join us again soon.

Our group consisted of two adults and three children. We found the cottage to be clean, well equipped, cozy and it had abundant natural light. Everything a guest might need or forget to bring (from a first aid kit and toothpicks ) were provided. We made use of the bikes of different sizes which were secured in the shed. We took short day trips to several locations including a nearby beach. The BBQ was popular as was the fire pit in the evenings. The tides brought with them gulls, small shore birds and a resident flock of wild ducks. We enjoyed a relaxing time together as a family and the pace of nature was such that we were able to "recharge our batteries." The rising and setting of the sun and as well as the changing of the tides had more of an impact on our daily plans than did the clock. We enjoyed some of the games and DVD's provided and enjoyed eating while watching the birds and watercraft on the water. The two boys immediately, upon our arrival, took over the "bunkhouse" while "the girls" claimed the two bedrooms in the cottage. I would highly recommend these accommodations following our stay as guests. It was very difficult to leave.

Frances, thank you for the lovely review. I'm glad that you were able to spend quality time with the family at our cottage and were able to "recharge". Thank you for the amazing artwork on our whiteboard as well! We've never seen such beautiful work done with whiteboard markers! We hope to see you again soon.

As our 50th wedding anniversary was coming up and not wanting a large family affair we decided it would be nice to rent some cottages for just our kids and grandkids for a week. Living in Moncton it was advantageous for our daughter-in-law to look around her area and she was the one who found the Blue and Grey cottages for rent. Being a family of 13 and a dog they were perfect for our purpose. My son Mike's family of 6 opted for the Grey cottage with the dog and the remainder of the clan in the Blue cottage and lovely bunkie. It was all we had expected and more. The kids had a ball from trumping in the mud at low tide to playing games and sitting at the campfire every night. Both cottages were very clean and well stocked with the necessities for preparing meals, entertainment, wi-fi, sleeping arrangments and bathrooms. We loved the IKEA furniture and early mornings sitting on the deck with a tea or coffee. We visited nearby beaches and the suspension bridge. It is only an hour drive to PEI, which we did for a day to the town of Cavendish visiting the amusement park, water park and shops. All in all it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Thank you, Paul for the kind words. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to host such a significant family gathering for you and your family. Please keep in mind it doesn't have to be such a milestone for you to come back!

My mom and I usually take my kids to a hotel for a few days over the summer but we decided to rent a cottage instead. I was little nervous not having done this before but Rebekah and Will were always there to answer my questions. The cottage is absolutely beautiful inside and very sweet on the outside. It's very clean and it's in a quiet neighborhood. The view is stunning and a few nights when the tide was out, I would walk the beach with the rubber boots that were provided for us. My mom and I bought small mattresses and floated right in front of the cottage. It's definitely not a place to swim but you could still float in it. Heather's beach is about 6 minutes away so we spent alot of time there and we went to PEI for the day as well.
There was a bunkie that the kids slept in a few nights and then my mom took it over and the kids slept in the cabin. There were movies provided for us and games as well. The kids loved the Headband game and Sorry. They are 14 and 15 and I thought they would be bored but they weren't, they had a great time. If your looking for a quiet get away Pugwash is a beautiful spot and this cottage was perfect for us. We would go back again forsure!
